    Not worth it

Very average tour. The guide did not introduce herself, was rude, didn’t answer questions properly, actually said to one person that she didn’t have to tell them all about the city and finished the tour earlier than was advertised. The gondola ride was scary as I thought our gondola would capsize or sink with the size of the people in it (ie no attempt at even weight distribution between gondolas. The gondolier did not engage with us at all.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your disappointing experience on the tour. We have forwarded your comments to the relevant department to investigate the guide's behavior. We apologize for any rudeness and for not providing the service you expected. Your feedback is essential for us to improve. Regarding the gondola ride, we regret that it was not up to standard. Safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we will address these issues with our team. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Sincerely,

    Disappointed

Walking tour was cancelled due to the Pope arriving the next day. We were not notified until after we stood in line at the ticket counter- an email or a text would have been nice. We were only able to do the gondalla ride which we had already done the day before. We still have not been reimbursed for the tour that was cancelled.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the unexpected cancellation of the walking tour. Unfortunately, the Pope's arrival is not always communicated in advance, and we are often informed only on the same day, which makes it extremely difficult to adjust logistics. We sincerely apologize for not being able to notify you before you arrived at the ticket counter. We understand the importance of efficient communication and are working to improve our processes to ensure that situations like this do not occur in the future. Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Sincerely,

Canceled part of tour with no offer of refund

The Pope was visiting the day of our tour so we found out the evening before that part was canceled with no offer of a partial refund. We couldn’t even get to the gondola part and I messaged the operator back about it but got no response.

Response from the operator: We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your tour with us. We apologize for any frustration or disappointment this may have caused you and the other members of your group. We fully understand how important this part of the tour was to you. Once again, we apologize for the setbacks and appreciate the opportunity to learn and improve from this experience. Sincerely,

Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride cost?

    +

Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 41 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tour Enchanting Venice Majestic City Walk and Gondola Ride start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
