    Awesome experience!

Allen did a fantastic job. He was very informative and gave us an in-depth history of the Mayan Empire and chichen itza. He had an answer for every question I asked. Allen and the driver Luis were both easy going and my wife and I felt safe the entire time. During stops they offered us beverages from their cooler which was very nice. I feel like this was the perfect tour because we got to do it on our own time. Allen was so accommodating and allowed us to spend as much or as little time as we needed in each place. Also other tours we looked at made you go to souvenir shops or something before taking you to the archeological site and this tour did not. They quickly showed us the town of valladolid which was a welcome stop because the drive was long and we had to go to the restroom and got take a few pictures before arriving to Chichen Itza. We arrived before it got super busy and before it became too hot. Then we went to the Cenote, it was beautiful and refreshing. The buffet and drinks were also delicious. Overall such an amazing day thanks to Allen and Luis!!

10/10 Experience – Book this tour!

Honestly, AMAZING from start to finish. Pickup was seamless—they were actually early! We ended up getting a private tour with Allen and our driver, Luis, and both were incredible. My husband and I felt completely safe and so well taken care of the entire day. Allen was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about Mayan history; I don't think there was a single question he couldn't answer! His knowledge was truly inspiring. I also loved the pacing—there were no unnecessary stops, and we started heading out of Chichén Itzá right as the heat and huge crowds began arriving. To top it off, the cenote was beautiful and the buffet was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about Allen and Luis. A flawless 10/10 experience!

Honestly AMAZING. The pickup was seamless they were there early, we ended up having a private tour with Allen and driver Luis. They were both incredible. My husband and I felt very safe and taken care of by both of them. Allen was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Mayan history I felt like there was not a question I could ask he couldn’t answer. The tour didn’t have any unnecessary stops, it was wonderful. I liked that we were starting to leave before the heat and big crowds got to chichen Itza. Again, I cannot say enough about Allen, his knowledge was incredible and inspiring. The Cenote was also beautiful and the buffet was amazing. Overall 10-10 experience!

The Best Way to Visit Chichén Itzá

This tour was a highlight of our three week holiday in Mexico. From the moment we were picked up in Cancun, our guide Alan was incredibly informative. It was great to learn about the history and culture of Mexico and the Mayan civilisation through his insights. The day ran very smoothly, and we were able to explore at our own pace. Our driver, Ivan, was extremely helpful throughout the day and kept us supplied with ice cold water and cervezas. One of the biggest advantages of this tour is the early pickup, which meant we arrived at Chichén Itzá before the crowds and before the heat of the day. Chichén Itzá itself was incredible, and having Alan explain the history and significance of the ruins made the experience far more informative and memorable. We also really enjoyed the cenote, especially as it was much quieter than others we had visited during our trip. I can’t recommend Alan, Ivan, and Itzae Tours and Travel highly enough.

Great trip with early entry to Chichen Itza

We had a really lovely day with Norma and Danny. We were picked up from our hotel at 6.30am and were in Vallodolid before 9am for a quick stop before heading to Chichén Itzá. Chichen Itza was beautiful and by getting there early it was not too hot or too crowded. A cold bottle of water was provided. I would absolutely recommend a tour that goes there early. When we left it was starting to get really hot. Luckily Norma had an ice cold beer for us on the bus! We drove from there straight to Hubiku Cenote. This was really well organised to see some local produce. Lunch was very good with plentiful local food, salads and tortillas. Then it was into the Cenote. Totally beautiful and absolutely freezing! Then back to the bus for the trip back to Cancun. There were only 4 of us so it was almost like a private tour but we were lucky as Norma said there were 50 people the day before. Norma was very passionate and knowledgeable about Mayan culture which was very interesting. Back to our hotel by 6pm so just under 12 hours but a great trip and we really enjoyed the day. Thanks Norma and Danny!

Response from the operator: Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us. We're really happy that you enjoyed the tour and Norma's service. On behalf of the entire ITZAE TOURS & TRAVEL team, it was a pleasure serving you.

Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid cost?

    +

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tour early access to Chichen itza, Cenote Hubiku and Valladolid start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
