Toronto Street Art and Graffiti Walking Tour

Mediocre

This tour was fine- saw street art, learned some neighborhood history, got fresh air - but nowhere near the amazing experience other reviewers had. Maybe the guide had an off day? IMO, not enough info about street artists and their relationship to the city. Lots of "look at this" and "look at that" without any additional context. Good price and duration though so I wouldn't say stay away but not a must-do either.

The others on the outing highly enjoyed the thorough explanations, the artist guide and Torontonian insider information about the pieces and creators; let alone Chloe’s connection to the scene and city as a whole. It sounds a bit like, though your co-traveller showed interest and asked questions, you, were a bit blasé and dead face the entire time. We’ve literally had to tell Chloe to slow down on the info and passion because she gives too much… so your comments on pointing here and there and the lack of info, passion or interest are exactly the opposite of everyone’s collective experience. Thanks for repping Florida and having zero guilt for the repercussions of your misleading actions and public review. Street art isn’t for everyone, especially those who have absolutely no reference. We showcase the time and effort and talent behind what beautifies our streets. We lend our community to visitors like you and you demonstrate that some are purely inconsiderate passerbyers. Miami is corporate art for corporate suburbanites. Toronto is real life projects aimed not at pleasing your palate but rather performing and expressing themselves oblivious to your satisfaction. The guide didn’t have an off day, you have an off connection to reality and we do not care. We’re not saying you’re a horrible person, we’re saying to still give you a chance, especially for the time and money you spent. Little care and little time, welcome to Toronto.

Just do it!

Had a fantastic street art tour around West Dundas neighborhood with Chloe, despite the rain! She's a wonderful and fun tourguide who brings her own knowledge as an artist to the tour. Can recommend 100% for visitors or natives who seek an experience in Toronto off the beaten path, away from crowds. Do it! Also check out "Homebase" graffiti store near Graffiti Alley for another authentic encounter.

Amazing Works of Art.

It was very informative and the guide was excellent. Reja gave excellent information about the artists and what each was depicting and the stories behind them.

Great way to spend an afternoon in Toronto!

This was such a fun addition to our Labour Day long week-end. The tour really dives into the culture and subculture of street art, covering different styles, techniques and artists. Our guide Chloe, a street artist herself, was really great at navigating through the busy street, surrounding noises and the pace of our group. I also loved the bakery stop long the way and the list of reccomendations came in handy for the rest of our stay. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the city or locals who want to learn more about their open air museum!
