Difficult to Navagate
While very interesting, we found it confusing. The history and information is good, but the self-guided tour takes you from one end to the other-back and forth-not very linear. We expected to go into the locations and get hints/something? from the business, but that isn't how this works. We never found one place that was a stop so I guess it went out of business, and one item mentioned was in a completely different location. We finally gave up after completing 11 of the 15 stops. However, for under $10, you can't go wrong, and the Distillery District is amazing! If you go, do a sake tasting!
Response from the operator: I'm really sorry to hear that the tour felt confusing and non-linear, and that some of the locations didn't line up properly. We want to make sure our routes are accurate and seamless, so I'd love to look into this and fix it. Please drop us a line at explore@questoapp.com so we can investigate what happened and get you a free quest to try out another time. Thanks, Alex – Founder of Questo

Quest MIA!
We bought tickets and when we opened the app we couldn’t get the quest to download. Only got a failed error.. Tried to reach out for support but didn’t get anywhere after a bit. Disappointing.
Response from the operator: Hi there, we are so sorry your quest went "MIA"! We know how frustrating a technical error is when you’re ready to explore, and we clearly missed the mark on getting back to you quickly. We have issued a full refund for your booking. Please check your email for confirmation. We’d love the chance to make this up to you. If you'd like to try our app again, please reach out to us at explore@questoapp.com and we’ll provide a complimentary pass to try the quest again on us.

Great experience to venture out into the city
Awesome experience; however, the responses were two restrictive. One answer was double pumps, yet the number 2 and not two was the only acceptable response. Also, it would have been nice if the game ended closer to where it began and not down a potentially dark alley way if you played closer to dusk.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you had an awesome experience. We're sorry to hear about the restrictive answer format and the ending location. We'll report these issues to our team for improvement. Your input helps us make the game better for everyone.

Fun way to explore the city! But not perfect.
This was a fun way to explore an area of the city. Following a story, solving puzzles, and learning new facts along the way. The length of the game adventure felt right, however the end point is about a 20-25 minute walk away from the start point. Also, the game title is misleading a bit because the last 3-5 clues take you OUT of the Distillery District and into Corktown. We were surprised at first, given the game's title. 😩 Also, there were missing clues and errors in some of the puzzles. Directions could have been a bit more clear too. We didn't want to use any hints at first, but we had to after we spent about 20 minutes on a puzzle which clue was missing 😡. After that we just used some hints when we got stuck more than 5-10 minutes, and didn't let these errors ruin our experience. With that said, I can see someone who is more competitive getting very frustrated with the experience. Overall I had a real fun time, and will give another of their scenarios in another area a try sometime. 😁 So I would recommend this activity, with the caveat to not do it if you are of competitive person or expect a perfect experience.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the detailed feedback! We're glad you had fun exploring. Apologies for any issues you encountered. If you could email care@questoapp.com with more details about the issues you have encountered, we'd appreciate it. We're constantly improving and your insights are valuable. We're delighted you're open to trying another scenario. Enjoy more adventures! 🗺️🔍😄

Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Toronto.
How much does Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $7 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Toronto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.1 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Toronto is not rushed.
Is Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Toronto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1.1-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Toronto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Toronto and add a light layer if any part of the 1.1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Toronto Distillery District: Whisky Exploration Game and Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Toronto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Toronto?
+
On Outty we rank every Toronto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Show me the City! A Small Group Walking Tour of Toronto, Niagara Falls Canada Day Tour From Toronto + Boat Cruise Option, Niagara Falls Tour from Toronto: Boat Ride & Journey Behind Falls. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Toronto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Toronto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
