Santorini Tour Guides of the Year 🏆

The tour was absolutely wonderful. George — because I keep forgetting the Greek spelling 😭 — and Youhan were an easy 10/10. Both incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and genuinely lovely throughout. Everything was explained so well that even I couldn’t get confused, which deserves its own award honestly. And special mention to Youhan, who unexpectedly added “professional photographer extraordinaire” to the tour package. At this point, I came for sightseeing and left with a full photoshoot album 😂📸

Response from the operator: Dear guests, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience and that George and Youhan made the tour so memorable for you. Don’t worry about the Greek spelling — they will both be delighted to receive your kind 10/10 feedback! We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you again in the future.

    I didn't get a chance to...

I didn't get a chance to go. I showed up at 10:45am but I later seen an email that they were picking up at 10:30. The tour started at 11 or 11:30. I asked for a refund and I received a notice saying it wasn't approved so I just lost 60 p,us dollars on this tour. They need to confirm right after booking the pick up times. I unfortunately didn't have any wifi so by time I seen it they had come and gone. I sent a message once I seen it with no reply. Be careful when booking and make sure you have the times they are picking up cause doesn't look like they give refunds and who wants to waste there money.

Response from the operator: Dear guest, We’re really sorry for the frustration this situation caused. We’ve carefully reviewed your case and can confirm that all the necessary information, including the pickup time and meeting point, was provided prior to the activity via email. We also tried to contact you regarding your booking, but unfortunately without success. According to our records, the tour operated as scheduled and the pickup was completed at the agreed location. As per policy, the booking has been classified as a no-show and, in line with our policy, we’re unfortunately unable to approve a refund. We completely understand how challenging it can be when traveling without reliable internet access, and how easy it is to miss important updates in those situations. Your feedback about clearer and more immediate communication is genuinely appreciated, and we will take it into account as we continue to improve our service. We’re very sorry that you missed the experience and that this affected your plans. If you’d like us to go over any details together, we’re always here to help. Kind regards, NST Travel & Tourism

    Fantastic tour but get prepared!

Lovely trip. Yannis (apologies if this isn't the correct spelling) and our fantastic bus driver (again apologies for the lack of name) were amazing. Really knowledgeable and kind. Top tips: Get to the bus stop early - around 5 minutes walk from Fira bus station, head down the hill, across the road and look for the NST bus. Check with the driver if you're not sure. Take cash! Thoroughly favoured by locals and easier for the vineyard and shopping. Card is accepted but it seems locals prefer it Take water with you and bring a bag to carry any purchases with you Make sure you're back to the bus before the time they say, that's the time they want to leave! Toilets are €1 so have cash for that too Overall a lovely trip, highly recommended but a few bits to prepare for

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted you had such a lovely trip and that Yannis and our driver made it even more special. We truly appreciate the helpful tips you shared and your recommendation—it means a lot to us! Best regards, NST Travel

    Great day out, with lots...

Great day out, with lots of stops to see all of Santorini. Very full on packed day out and great value for money. Our tour guide Yannis was really insightful and our driver was brilliant too. The only downside was not getting picked up from the hotel so it meant having to get buses either side which added to the day.

Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.

How much does Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.

Is Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Top Sights of Santorini with Wine Tasting and Sunset in Oia start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santorini?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santorini?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
