guide and agency is absurd. they are so bossy and no repspect to tourist
I must write a review for this because the agency and guide was horrible though i didn't go to the trip actucally. i booked the tour before one month and the guide contact to me right before late afternoon and tell me he's gonna pick me up at 8 and just gone on the chat. I was so mad because I booked it for 9 o'clock and I replyed to him quickly to change the time, but he didn't reply until next morning. during the no response time, i was so upset I contact to viator and i show them guide to me to meet me when he wants and just gone and no negotiation or reply about it. and vitor told me that since it's right before the tour i cannot get the refund due to terms and condition. so I told them isn't their a terms and condition for tourists. it was so unfair. it was tour guide and agency's fault who contact me late and being bossy and no communication but why do i have to lose my money without any fault of mine. and then later on this whole situation agency contact me and bragging about this whole situation and told me they can give me 50% back. it was absurd. i didnt accept it and i told them to contact viator since i have zero trust with them. this tour agency and guide is so irresposible and I must tell this to hoping to no more tourist have ruin their day cuase of these kinda situation.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the context. Here's the response: --- Thank you for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this situation caused you. First, we want to acknowledge that our communication fell short of the standard we hold ourselves to. Our guide reached out to you later than expected due to severe traffic congestion caused by heavy rainfall in Cairo that day. However, that does not excuse the lack of timely follow-up to your message. When you raised a concern about the pickup time, you deserved a prompt response, and we failed to provide that. We fully understand how upsetting it must have been to feel unheard, especially the evening before your tour. We also understand your frustration regarding the refund process. Our intention in offering a partial refund was to find a resolution, but we recognize that given the circumstances, this may not have felt adequate. This experience has been a serious learning moment for our team. We are implementing stricter communication protocols to ensure that every guest receives timely, respectful, and clear communication — especially when unexpected circumstances arise. A simple message explaining the situation could have prevented this entire experience. We deeply regret that your trip was affected and would welcome the opportunity to resolve this matter fairly. Please feel free to contact us directly at info@pyramidsland.com. Warm regards, Pyramids Land Tours Team

We had to hire Mimo again for this other trip! Simply amazing day in Sakkara and Memphis!
Let me start by saying that our tour guide Mimo was so good on our first day in Cairo when we visited the Giza Plateau pyramid complex that we wanted him back with us to go to Memphis & Saqqara. He was really grateful we called him back for it and he gave us a good deal to work with him again. He is not the cheapest, but is worth every penny. Friendly, knowledgeable and kind, Mimo takes the time to understand what’s important to you and provide you the best experience possible. We really wanted to see it all. And we did! We visited the red pyramid, the step pyramid, and the bend pyramid. We actually went in to two of them and he reassured us we would enjoy it. And oh boy we did! Such a unique an amazing experience to be there. Mimo took us to Memphis, Sakkara and Dahshur, and bathed us with so much information about the middle era of ancient egypt. The two pyramids we went down on, they were a unique experience on their own and I highly recommend you do it. Even if you are not fit … I am a little fat now and really unfit, but I took my time and got them both done. If you are patient with yourself you can do it. It’s is exhausting though, so bring some water with you and hydrate after the fact. All in all, another 10 out of 10 with Mimo, who also gave us a tremendous day in the Middle Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. Don't miss it, and also keep in mind he does other tours in the Cairo area as well. I wrote another review for the Giza complex as well on the first day here, go check it out.

Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo cost?
+
Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Top Rated Memphis and Sakkara - Private 6-Hour Tour from Cairo start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ViP Private Tour Giza Pyramids, camel ride , inside 3rd Pyramid, Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel, ATV Bike, Shopping & Dinner Cruise, Giza Pyramids VIP Private Tour ATV Camel Inside Pyramid & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
