Well organized tour, we loved seeing Toledo and Segovia!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you had a great experience visiting Toledo and Segovia. These two cities have so much history and character to offer, and we are happy that you could enjoy them as part of our excursion. We hope to accompany you again on another discovery of Spain.

Waste of time on a ridiculous itinerary!
Both Toledo and Segovia are worth a visit but absolutely not on the same day. A large part of the day was wasted locked up in the Madrid traffic escaping Madrid, returning to central Madrid, escaping Madrid again and returning to central Madrid. Do not take this tour! Choose either Toledo or Segovia and visit them separately. From central Madrid it may be easier to go by train.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear that you consider both Toledo and Segovia worthwhile destinations, as they are indeed two of the most emblematic historical cities in Spain. However, we would like to clarify that the combined itinerary is clearly designed and advertised as a full-day excursion covering both cities from Madrid. As with any departure and return to a major capital city, especially one as busy as Madrid, traffic conditions can vary significantly depending on the time of day, season, and external factors beyond our control. Occasional delays related to urban traffic are therefore an inherent aspect of any coach-based tour operating in and out of the city. The route is planned to optimise time on site in both destinations while ensuring a same-day return, which is precisely what many travellers choose for convenience and efficiency when visiting from Madrid. We understand that some visitors may prefer to travel independently by train or to dedicate a full day to each city separately, which is certainly an alternative option. However, many guests also value the comfort, organisation, and guided context provided by a structured tour that includes transport, logistics, and expert explanations throughout the day. We appreciate your comments and are sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. Kind regards.

Toledo and Segovia tour
Toledo and Segovia are very beautiful places. But I would not recommend to have them in one day. Each of the place deserves to be toured the whole day. The tour guides are great too. Although their customer service needs to be improved, it's raining that day on a cold winter morning, the bus was there already but we were left outside for like 30 mins in the freezing cold.

不建議參加一天團
Overall, the itinerary was good, but a few aspects need improvement, especially the restrooms. It would be better if the meeting point for the morning bus departure had restrooms. Whenever I participate in a day trip, including Toledo & Segovia, I have to return to Madrid to transfer to another tour bus, which is quite time-consuming. Furthermore, the lack of restrooms along the way meant almost three hours without being able to use the restroom, which is extremely inconvenient for children and the elderly! We took a double-decker bus that morning, and the environment was very cramped and lacked a sense of space. They didn't turn on the ventilation throughout the journey, so the air was very stuffy and hot, making us feel suffocated. It deserves praise that the tour guide's explanations were very detailed. If you're opting for a one-day tour, I wouldn't recommend it. I recommend joining a half-day tour.

Amazing journey to Toledo and Segovia
VPT office located near Templo de Debod. We arrived there early so we took a short visit to the temple. It was beautiful. The tour guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. Toledo and Segovia are amazing. The only pity is time is too short.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Madrid.
How much does Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Madrid usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Madrid is not rushed.
Is Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Madrid, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Toledo and Segovia Day Trip from Madrid start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Madrid within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Madrid?
+
On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Madrid?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Madrid?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
