    Great picture day with Naoko

Naoko was excellent. She took tons of pictures and moved us around to different locations. We got lots of great shots without a lot of people around which is hard to do. We all enjoyed her energy and enthusiasm.

Response from the operator: Michael-san, thank you so much for entrusting me with your important photographs the other day. Thanks to you communicating your preferences in advance, I was able to suggest specific shooting locations. I am also deeply touched by your kind words; they are a great encouragement for me in the future. Please allow me a little more time for the photos to be completed. Naoko Komuro

    Amazing Cherry Blossom Family Photoshoot!

Naoko is an excellent and talented photographer. Her communication was excellent throughout. She was very helpful in helping us to select a good location and tailored the photoshoot session to our requests. Since we were visiting Japan during cherry blossom season, we wanted to take family photos with the beautiful blooms. Naoko did an excellent job of directing us in different poses and had very creative ideas. She was especially good at making the photo shoot fun for our 6 year old son, even allowing him to try out her camera. The photos were beautiful and my son had a beautiful smile in all of them. We are grateful to have had Naoko to capture such beautiful and cherished memories of our family trip to Japan.

Response from the operator: Smelimelimc-san, Thank you so much for your kind words.
I always try to make the entire experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible—not only during the photoshoot, but also when discussing the location and timing based on each family’s plans. I also do my best to make the session fun for children, keeping them engaged by incorporating movement and keeping the session efficient so they don’t get bored. Thank you again for trusting me to capture your special cherry blossom memories in Tokyo. Naoko Komuro

Thank you Naoko for your amazing job!

We chanced upon Naoko while looking for photographers to document out recent Tokyo trip. Naoko kept in constant contact with us and even updated us with the weather conditions. Though it was a pity the weather was foggy and we could not capture Fuji-San, Naoko managed to capture something that is much more dearer to us, our smiles. Pure unadulterated happiness could be seen from our finalised pictures and we are so pleased with them. For those who worry about the language barrier, please rest assure that Naoko is fluent in English and we never had any issues with the session. We will definitely contact Naoko for future photo sessions. Thank you Naoko and Nori for your patience to my family!

    Amazing pictures and great time!

Naoko-San's photography service in Tokyo exceeded our expectations. Not only was she friendly and proficient in English, but she also had a keen eye for capturing the essence of our family. We were thoroughly satisfied with the pictures she provided; they truly encapsulated the memories of our time in Tokyo. Naoko-San comes highly recommended for anyone seeking professional and personable photography services in the city.

Response from the operator: Thank you for entrusting me with your photo shoot the other day. I apologize for the late reply. I am also happy to hear that you were satisfied with the photos. If you let me know your requests and where you would like to stay, I will take you to the best location to take the family photos you desire. We can suggest locations such as traditional Japanese architecture and modern towers, and for families with small children, locations that are away from crowds and allow you to take wonderful photos at your leisure. Once again, thank you very much for entrusting your important photos to me. Naoko Komuro

Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tokyo.

How much does Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $40000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tokyo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tokyo is not rushed.

Is Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tokyo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tokyo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tokyo and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tokyo Family Photoshoot — Private & Authentic Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tokyo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tokyo?

    +

Tokyo is less a city than a stack of neighborhoods with completely different opening hours. A guided food crawl through Shinjuku's Omoide Yokocho gets you past the no-tourist curtains, while the day trips west to Hakone and Fuji need an early start to be worth the fare. Our ranking weighs guide quality heavily here, because in Tokyo the guide is the product. On Outty we rank every Tokyo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tokyo Shinjuku Chopsticks Making Class, Tokyo : Asakusa Chopsticks Making Class, Shinjuku Night Food and Bar Crawl. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tokyo?

    +

Late March to May for blossom, October to November for clear Fuji views. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tokyo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
