    Excellent and knowledge tour guide

We did several private tours with Cesar on our recent trip to Peru and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. It felt more like a friend showing us around than a tour guide. Super easygoing, fun to talk to, and insanely knowledgeable — every part of all the sites had a story, and he explained things in such an interesting and relatable way. Because it was private, we could go at our own pace, stop for photos whenever we wanted, and ask a million questions. He was patient, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. You could tell that he genuinely loves what he does and cares deeply about giving people a great experience. Peru is already amazing, but having the right guide made it unforgettable. I’d book with Cesar again in a heartbeat.

Response from the operator: Muchas gracias y un placer poder acompañarte en el viaje un abrazo

    Wonderful Experiences

I strongly recommend Cesar’s professional tour guide services to explore Aguas Calientes and Machupicchu. There are many activities to do on your own at Aguas Calientes, such as restaurants, shopping and enjoying the culture. Cesar is a friendly, patient, communicative, and respectful. I felt very safe with him as my tour guide because he is knowledgeable in navigating the logistics and coordination of the tour. Cesar took great care of my friend and I. He made sure we were happy and comfortable. We learned about the wonderful history, culture and way of life from Cesar. I fully recommend Cesar to people who are new to Peru and returning travelers to Peru. He is a kind gentleman who is eager to share his love of Peru with travelers from all walks of life.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your words I hope you can come back to Peru !!

    The perfect Machu Picchu experience!

We loved our time exploring Mach Picchu and discovered so many unexpected features of this site's history and the culture with our guide Cesar. We're glad that we decided to spend 2 days at the site doing circuit 2 and 3. One visit would not have been enough. It is also important to have a guide who grew up in the area who can give many perspectives not taught in history books. In our mind and heart, Cesar is Peru! We were truly blessed to have him as our guide and now, our friend.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your message

Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sacred Valley.

How much does Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu cost?

    +

Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sacred Valley usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sacred Valley is not rushed.

Is Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sacred Valley, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sacred Valley can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sacred Valley and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sacred Valley within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sacred Valley?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sacred Valley experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best Private Sacred Valley Tour in Cusco ( with Pisac), From Urubamba & Ollantaytambo: Sacred Valley Day tour with Lunch, Machu Picchu Guided Tour from Aguas Calientes. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sacred Valley?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sacred Valley?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu?

    +

Included: Guía profesional; Entrance tickets; Servicio de asistencia en todo su viaje (correo, whatsapp); and MACHUPICCHU TOUR. Not included: Lunch; Private transportation; and All Fees and Taxes. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 3 listed pickup locations in and around Sacred Valley. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time.

What languages is Tickets and Private Tour Machupicchu offered in?

    +

It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

    +
