April 7 th 1864 loop
I can't even explain how worth it that was! If you love to ride and the thrill of curvy roads.. This is for you. Andy (owner) is amazing and extremely accommodating. Bikes are all great, clean, and well maintenance. We had Wiroth as our tour guide. He was the best. So fun, informative, had great spots for stopping, and picked amazing food and coffee along the way. I'd choose him again, over and over. The follow truck with luggage, water, soda was so helpful and funny. I forget his name. Equally amazing. FYI... they provide all gear. If you don't have it or don't want to lug it around... don't!!! You will not be disappointed with this company, Andy, or his crew.
Response from the operator: Thank you thank you very much for a great review. I hope to see you guys back here again soon Ride Save Andy

incredible. bucket list. life changing. best trip ever.
Best holiday I've had in 20 years! This is such an incredible trip, like a 4 day F1 track Arguably the best motorcycling road on the planet. Seriously, Andy is the operator you want to rent from in Chiang Mai. His mostly BMW's are incredibly maintained and kitted out, which is pretty important when your life is on the line. His advice is thoughtful, and he checks in regularly. The hotels are great for what they are. The food, the people, the sights... right at the end of civilisation... this is a once in a lifetime bucket trip JUST GO! And whatever you do go with this company. I looked at a lot, and Andy wasn't the cheapest but by FAR the best. I've spent a lot of money on things I regret in my life, this is NOT one of them. GO! BOOK IT RIGHT NOW!
Response from the operator: Scott cheers bud, glad you guys had a blast . Hope to see you back again soon Thanks Andy

Well-recommended: 1st out of country tour
From our beginning online inquiry to our last day when we returned the bike, Andy has been hands-on organizing the whole tour for us. Everything has been taken cared of from the first night in the hotel prior to the ride, until our return, from food to very good hotel accommodations. Our tour guide, Khun Lowey, has been very helpful and cheerful! It was a lovely experience for our first out of the country motorcycle tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you very very much for your kind words, ride safe and hope to see you again on another tour soon Thank you Andy

Great Way to Get to Know Thailand, If You're a Rider
Before the Tour - BB Touring (c/o Andy) was very responsive and answered our inquiries well. - Requirements were laid out clear, and easy to comply. - They booked us to a good hotel room (Sunny V), which served as the pickup point of the van. - We had breakfast at Route 66 Cafe, before preparing for the ride. - Complete riding gears were provided, and also the soft luggage which fit easily into the bike's side panniers. - All the bikes were in generally great shape. Our selected bike, the BMW F900GS was practically brand new with less than 3k kms on the clock. - A briefing and clear instructions were provided by Andy himself. During the Tour - Pacing was according to the riders' skill level. I never felt like going over my abilities, but still maintained a generally spirited pace. - Our tour guide, "Louie" took good care of us during the trip. Also took us to good places to eat and take breaks. He also gave historical backgrounds or stories about the places visited, for better appreciation. - Good selection of hotels per town visited. - The roads were enjoyable and the motorists along the way seemed very courteous. After the Tour - A "farewell lunch" was provided before bringing us back to the hotel via van. Overall: Highly recommended. Very well worth booking the Mae Hong Son Loop tour with BB Touring Co. People there are great, and the equipment provided is in top shape. Extra memorable as this was the first time I rode a motorcycle outside of my home country. Thank you and more power to BB Touring Co.!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words, so happy you guys had a good time. Hope to see you back again soon Ride Safe Andy

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1845 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Thrilling 1864 Curves, Mae Hong Son Loop – 4-Day Motorcycle Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
