An Exceptional Jouney through Kampong Glam
The tour gave us a glimsp of the Singapore identity via the various stops within the district itself. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable with an approachable style of articulation. What we also love were the excellent balance of landmark architecture including Sultan Mosque, the Gateway and Parkview Square alongside the vibeful alleyways with vibrant street art. We were pleasantly surprised that at the end of the trip there was a wonderful kunafe dessert which in even includes an ice-cream. A perfect way to end the tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! We are thrilled to read about your experience and that our tour gave you such a fantastic insight into the true heart of Singapore's identity. Our guide will be happy to hear that their knowledge and friendly style made a positive impact on your day. And yes, that kunafe and ice cream finale is always a massive hit! There is truly no sweeter way to wrap up an adventure. Thank you again for choosing us, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another unforgettable journey!

Delightful way to spend 150 minutes
This is a delightful tour with a personable and knowledgeable guide who offered many nuggets of history and culture for the landmarks visited. The tour was curated with the comfort of those unused to Singapore heat in mind, meaning parts of the route offered cool respite as they involved popping into air-conditioned buildings. These visits weren't just for comfort though - they had noteworthy histories or backgrounds the guide happily shared. The tour's pace was leisurely without being too dragged out so it's suitable for most age groups. Kampong Glam not only reflects Malay culture and the lifestyle of days gone by, but also shows the influence of other Islamic ethnic groups such as various Arabic groups and the Turks. The tour offers 2 well-time snack breaks where one gets to sample a local favourite known as epok epok, and Turkish treats such as kunafe and goat milk ice cream. While the start of the tour may seem surprising, as one sees a Gothic-style structure amidst 3 super modern towers, together the edifice reflect the confluence of Feng Shui with pragmatic considerations. There's also an outdoor gallery here, including 2 original sculptures by Dali.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review. We are delighted that you enjoyed our curated pace, historical insights, and architectural highlights. We are pleased that the selection of local epok epok (curry puff) and authentic Turkish treats added a memorable flavor to your journey. Your feedback serves as a wonderful encouragement to our entire team. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exceptional experience in the future.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Singapore.
How much does Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $62 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Singapore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Singapore is not rushed.
Is Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Singapore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Singapore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Singapore and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Thread of Faith and Fabric Singapore Kampong Glam Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Singapore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Singapore?
+
On Outty we rank every Singapore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Singapore Highlights Small Group Bike Tour on Full-Sized Bicycles, Lion City Bike Tour of Singapore, Singapore River Cruise, Night Garden Rhapsody & Spectra by CYT. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Singapore?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Singapore?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
