amazing experience
I enjoyed the trip a lot and our guide Tedi was attentive and supported us through our hike to Blue Eye, which is easy and simple, but because of the heat it was quite challenging. The views on the road, the Theth village and Blue eye were stunning. Tedi also took us to the Reconciliation tower in Theth and told about old Albanian customs there. Also the choice of music during our drive was amazing, we had a good laugh! I recommend Tedi and this tour to everyone considering going to Theth and Blue eye 🔥

Spectacular day touring the Alps and Blue Eye of Theth
We had a great time touring Theth/Blue Eye and the Albanian Alps with Tedi! It was a very comfortable small group experience. Pick up was smooth, and I was so greatful not to be driving on that tiny mountain road (Tedi did great)! He is clearly very passionate about his country, culture, and travel and absolutely loves his job. He was a wonderful DJ, driver, bag holder, guide, and historian. We had an incredible experience!

Beautiful Theth day trip with Tedi
We had a day tour to Theth with Tedi and it was one of the most wonderful excursions I have ever been on! The whole trip was unreal, the views were crazy and the day went soo smoothly. Tedi was the best guide! Genuinely great at what he does and passionate about his job. He had funny anecdotes and detailed info on history of each place we visited. He is a genuine soul and a good person, highly recommend going on the tour with him as ur guide! Aaron was also so lovely and great to talk with, we had a lovely group and great time - thank you all!

Book Albanian Path! You won’t regret it!
For our daytrip to Teth we booked Albanian Path with Tedi. He drove all the way from Tirana to Skhodër to pick us up to drive to Teth. He drives excellent and you feel so comfortable in the car with him. With the Albanian paths you need a topdriver for sure! We had some great viewpoints and bonus he is also a very good photographer ;-))) We visited some nice places on our way and he knows a lot to tell you about them which is very interesting. We visited the blue eye. So bluetiful :-) The hike is good for young and old, Tedi knows the way around very well. Swimming is a challenge but so worth it if you try it. So worth the visit! We liked our guide Tedi so much: he communicates very very well in English (a big plus), he makes a lot of jokes, he can tell you so much about Albania/history, so great to spend a day with. You feel very on ease with him in every way possible. Book Albanian path! It is so worth it! We can highly recommend Tedi as your guide! You won’t regret it!

Theth + blue eye
We wanted to see Theth and swim in the (ice cold) Blue Eye. Tedi from Albanian Path picked us up directly from the place where we stayed. He's wonderful: easy to talk to, great sense of humour, and you can ask him anything about Albania. Great driver as well, Albanian style 😉 Wonderful places to visit, and so much better accompanied by very interesting history ( reconciliation tower!). Highly recommended!

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tirana.
How much does Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tirana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tirana is not rushed.
Is Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Theth Albanian Alps and Blue Eye Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tirana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tirana?
+
On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, Kruja castle, the old Bazaar & Sarisalltik- Departure from Tirana. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tirana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tirana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
