A highly immersive historical visit!

A very enriching visit with an excellent guide! Not being from the area, I learned a tremendous amount. The immersion in Avignon of 1860 was complete with a dynamic and fun guide who knew how to stay in character. The little anecdotes and other stories were truly interesting. Hats off for her simply magnificent costume! This allows for discovering a part of Avignon's history in a different way.

Very good time spent in the past of Avignon - an unknown facet

Very nice surprise gift, an original way to spend my birthday! A dive into the era of dyers, with Mme Pernod. 2h visit, very interesting, which made us discover stories, anecdotes, with a real historical concern, and little corners we did not know. Real immersion. Lively, personified (nice work on the character), with illustrations and good humor. I highly recommend, eager to discover the V2 of the servant who is in reflection..., and I will maybe go to Toulouse in the meantime.

Avignon at the time of the Industrial Revolution

Beautiful diving in an Avignon district at the beginning of the industrial era. New look at famous places. Discovering the atmosphere of a society in full upheaval. Sylvie completely invested in her role led us to this discovery. A very good time.

+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Avignon?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Avignon?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
