Aarti, written as Aarti, is a Hindu ritual performed by a group of young clergymen well garbed in silk saffron and white robes holding lamps which are waves in a synced motion with the sound of bells drums cymbals, and chanting some Sanskrit mantras takes up a specific spot in the Ghat and start the rituals by offering flowers to the river Ganga and light is offered to one or more deities. Great experience in Varanasi
The tour is a must to understand Varanasi's people and soul; this city is not only made by a few historical buildings, but mainly by its people and faith. And there was no one better to explain than our guide Zishan! Ballu & Boobalah were terrific
We had a fantastic day exploring Varanasi with our guide, Baloo and our lovely driver, whom we affectionately nicknamed “Bubala”! Communication was excellent, and everything ran like clockwork. We were picked up at 4am for an early morning boat trip on the Ganges, which was a wonderful experience, then taken back to our hotel for breakfast before being collected again around 9ish to continue our sightseeing. Both Baloo and Bubala were lovely chaps, friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. We wanted to tweak the itinerary a little to suit ourselves, and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed the day, and they certainly helped make our visit to Varanasi memorable. Would happily recommend them both!

Varanasi Morning
Our sunrise tour of Varanasi was easily one of the highlights of our India trip. We met our guide Sunny before dawn and walked down to the ghats, where we boarded a small boat just as the sky began to lighten over the Ganges. Drifting past the ghats while pilgrims bathed, priests performed rituals, and the city slowly woke up was unforgettable, and seeing the cremation fires at Manikarnika Ghat from the water was deeply moving. Afterward we wandered through the narrow old-city lanes, stopping for chai and learning about the history and spiritual significance of the city along the way. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient with our questions, and gave us space to simply take it all in. The early start is absolutely worth it.

A relaxing full day
Vashid is a fountain of knowledge and my driver navigated the traffic with ease. I saw literally everything of importance while under their care. They were great!
