ビシュケクと郊外を1日で楽しめるEnjoy Bishkek and its suburbs in one day
This was a one-day tour that included sightseeing in Bishkek city and Al Alacha National Park on the outskirts. Al Alacha National Park is located about 40 minutes from Bishkek city, and it was a wonderful place to enjoy authentic mountain and valley beauty. The city tour also covered the key points and was very satisfying. The Kyrgyz food for lunch was also delicious. Please note that Al Alacha involves quite a bit of walking on mountain paths, so it is not recommended for elderly people who do not exercise regularly. Our guide, Ms.Madina, is a slender woman, but she is very strong and climbed the mountain paths with ease. Her explanations in English were perfect, and I was very impressed that she had studied English herself.

Great one day tour to learn about Bishkek and see the spectacular scenery of Kyrgyzstan.
Our group of four did two tours with Ventura Tours. The first day we took the Ala Archa National Park and Bishkek City Tour. We made a special request to stop at Ata Beyit Memorial Complex which was very moving. Our guide was Nuriza and she did an excellent job. She was very accommodating and told us about each of the sites. Ala Archa is a beautiful park to see. Nuriza suggested we start early to beat the crowds which was an excellent idea. This is a great one day trip to learn about Bishkek and see some of the spectacular scenery of Kyrgyzstan.
Response from the operator: Dear Tina! Thanks again for another review on our tours! We are delighted that you guys enjoyed your Kyrgyzstan journey with our team! It really means the world to us! We hope to show you other parts of Central Asia in future!

Active and culturally engaging day in Bishkek
We started our 5-day excursion in Kyrgyzstan with a tour of Bishkek and a visit to Ala Archa National Park. Everything was well coordinated. Medina, who spent time in the US, speaks excellent English and made communication easy. We were picked up on time at 9am from our hotel (the Orion, reviewed separately) and headed out to the park. The weather was cloudy, so the views were a bit hazy, but the drive was smooth and not too long. From the visitor center, we took a bus to the start of the hike. The trail to “Broken Heart Rock” is steep but not rough. It took us exactly one hour of steady hiking to reach the formation — a small outcropping with a story behind it and what would likely be stunning views on a clearer day. Still, the hike was very enjoyable, and we were back down in 45 minutes. Medina then brought us to a Kyrgyz restaurant and ordered several local specialties: samsas, a tomato and onion salad, a beef sausage kebab, and of course, the bread. After lunch, we returned to Bishkek for a city tour. We started at the train station and visited several sites, including Victory Square, where we heard about Kyrgyzstan’s struggles under both Tsarist and Soviet rule. We continued through the park to the Soviet-era Russian Theater, then on to Ala-Too Square, where we learned about the epic poem of Manas. We wrapped up at the Osh Bazaar, picking up some spices, dried fruits, and a backpack for our next hike. Throughout the tour, Medina was informative, attentive, and easy to understand. We’re looking forward to the next part of our trip with her at Issyk Kul!
Response from the operator: Dear Aaron! Thank you so much for sharing your warm feedback before kicking off a multi day journey with us! We hope that you guys will leave Kyrgyzstan with some of the best impressions and memories! Thank you!

Ventura Tours is who you need in Central Asia
I am trip planner and I curated a Central Asia trip with 10 friends from September-October 2024. Central Asia is not well known to most people so I was fortunate to find Ventura Tours to help us navigate this part of the globe. They took care of us from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Tashkent Uzbekistan as well as Samarkand and Bukhara. They made it easy for us and introduced as to a world that was new to us. The guides we had in each place were all very good specially Ameera in Samarkand who just got her Ph.D. She was exceptional. So too was Princess, our guide in Bukhara. Our guide in Almaty, Damir, was excellent. The special Kazakh dinner prepared by his mom Mrs Raushan was memorable. We saw how hospitable and friendly the Kazakhs are. Central Asia should be on one’s bucket list. Great destination and specially when you hook up with a tour operator to make it easy for you. Ventura Tours was my one-stop shop for Central Asia. We were in good hands with them. They were flexible, reasonable and very easy to work with. Talk to Ash or Nuriza. They will help you.
Response from the operator: Dear Celestial! Thank you so much for such an incredible feedback of yours! We are immensely and sincerely happy that you loved your time in Central Asia with us! And we’re looking forward to hosting you here again in future!

I really enjoy the tour. It is great if you are short on time to be able to do some hiking and see the city in the same day. Bek, my guide, is great and very encouraging during the hike. Overall very satisfied.
Response from the operator: Dear Lawrence! Thanks a lot for such a warm feedback! We are immensely happy that you loved your experience in Kyrgyzstan with us! Looking forward to showing you some more of Central Asia in future!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bishkek.
How much does The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour cost?
+
Prices start at $142 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bishkek usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bishkek is not rushed.
Is The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 42 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bishkek, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bishkek can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bishkek and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The perfect day: Ala Archa National Park + Bishkek city tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bishkek within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bishkek?
+
On Outty we rank every Bishkek experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-Inclusive Day Trip: Burana, Canyons & Issyk Kul with Pickup, 2-Day Issyk Kul Small Group Tour with Yurt Stay and Eagle Show, Ala Archa Nature Park Essential Half Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bishkek?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bishkek?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
