    Yummy eats in Florence

We had a wonderful experience on our food tour . we had a wonderful tour guide, Julia(?), who was very knowledgeable and took us to yummy locations for cheese, wine, savories, desserts. She was timely and new a lot about the local historic spots as well . I found Florence to be quite enormous and found that this tour helped focus on locations that I would not have found on my own . Highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that Daniela made your Florence food tour such a memorable experience. Her knowledge of local flavors, history, and hidden spots is exactly what helps guests discover the authentic side of the city. We're so happy you enjoyed the cheese, wine, savory treats, and desserts! We hope to welcome you again for another Streaty adventure in Catania, Naples, Rome, Syracuse, Venice, Bari, Bologna, Turin and many other cities! A big hug from the Streaty crew!

Great experience to taste food off the main track.

Alice was a great guide, passionate about Food, helpful, attentive. We stayed in a market for a while tasting produce from there, dishes that are truly from Florence and from centuries ago: we tested fresh tomatoes, apricots, plums prepared for us at the market. It was excellent. A mix between food and history, very enlightening. We finished with Gelato, perfect. Thank you Alice!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted you enjoyed discovering authentic Florentine flavors beyond the usual tourist spots. It's great to hear that Alice's passion, attentiveness, and knowledge made the experience so memorable. From the fresh market produce to centuries-old local specialties and the final gelato, it sounds like you experienced Florence at its tastiest! We hope to welcome you again for another Streaty adventure in Palermo, Catania, Naples, Rome, Syracuse, Venice, Bari, Bologna, Turin, and many other cities! A big hug from the Streaty crew!

Best tour/experience we’ve had in Florence!!

I am visiting Florence with my husband and 19 year old daughter. It’s our first time in Italy. We’ve been here 3 days and done several other tours and this one is HANDS DOWN our favorite!! Our tour guide, Martina “Tina”, was exceptional! She made us feel like old friends visiting from out of town. She took us places and introduced us to local favorites that we would never had known to ask for without her inside knowledge. She was the perfect balance of providing historical and local information with time for us to experience the food/location on our own as well, without feeling pressured or pressed for time. She always assured us if we felt too full or unsure of something we had never tried…that she would not be upset with us. That made us feel better as we didn’t want to offend her. This tour was amazing- in fact, my family and I are going back to a few of the spots she took us to to eat again! Ask for Martina!!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review Anna! We're absolutely delighted that your Streaty tour was the highlight of your family's first trip to Italy. Martina will be over the moon to know she made you feel like old friends and helped you discover authentic local favorites beyond the usual tourist path. It means so much that you'll be returning to some of the places you visited together—that's exactly the experience we hope to create. We hope to welcome you on another Streaty adventure in Palermo, Catania, Naples, Rome, Venice, Bologna or Turin. A big hug from the Streaty crew!

    Informative and Tasty

Our guide Alice kept the pace steady and informative. She fed us lots of food samples and the history of Florentine favorites. Most of all she was considerate of our jet lag and how tired we were so made sure we were near seats. Good overview of Central Market.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review Calvin! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed discovering Florence's food traditions with Alice. She'll be delighted to know her thoughtful approach, from sharing the stories behind each local specialty to making sure you could rest when needed, helped make the experience even more enjoyable. It's great that the Central Market gave you such a nice introduction to the city's culinary scene! We hope to welcome you again for another Streaty adventure in Catania, Naples, Rome, Syracuse, Venice, Bari, Bologna, Turin and many other cities! A big hug from the Streaty crew!

The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive) cost?

    +

Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive) take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 168 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive)?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive)?

    +

Around 59 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Original Florence Street Food & Market Tour (All-Inclusive) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
