Nightmare experience 20 year anniversary trip ruined
Today! 20 year wedding anniversary. Spent in the Algarve. My husband loves Spanish Tapas so I booked this tour. 3 hours just to drive to Sevilla but thought it would be worth it. At meeting place….no guide. Reached out to the tour operator was told…”sorry, our guide forgot” (BTW booked over a month ago. Maybe your time isn’t important and these guys seem to have great reviews but if you want to chance it with a company who says…”I forgot” best of luck. Trying to make the best of a disappointing situation I asked for a list of places we would have gone since I did no research on my own….they did not provide that either. This is a $400 tour. Completely unacceptable.

First and foremost, we are genuinely sorry that your anniversary did not unfold as either of us had hoped. On the day of your tour, our guide made an unacceptable scheduling error and failed to arrive at the meeting point. As soon as we became aware of the situation, we contacted you, offered to run the tour later that same evening if your schedule allowed, and when you understandably chose not to continue with your plans, we processed a full refund immediately. We completely understand that neither an alternative departure time nor a refund could make up for the disappointment of a special day that had been planned well in advance. We also agree that we should have done a better job of helping you make the most of your time in Seville after the cancellation by providing recommendations for places to visit. This was an isolated failure on our part, and we have since reviewed our operating procedures to add additional confirmation checks so that this situation is far less likely to happen again. We know we fell short of the standard our guests expect, and for that we sincerely apologize. We appreciate your feedback, and we are committed to learning from it.

If you are looking for the best tapas tour in Seville, One and Only Nuevo Tapas Tour stands out for its creative dishes, excellent local wines, and visits to restaurants locals actually love. Not to put anyone down, but we devoured one tour that was cliché after cliché, and then we discovered this and had some food that blew us away. Do yourselves a favour and stay away from the big corporate tour companies; they are all the same. Tour with a chef. This will make up for the purge.

The BEST food tour in Seville
due to the fact that it is so distinctive. Since we frequently take winter vacations in the UK, this is our third time to Seville for a cuisine trip. This trip is entirely posh; there are no potatoes, brava, or tortillas. Both the cod and the item with the pork belly (I don't know what it was called) were amazing. Touring with Chef Crestani is a true pleasure.
