    About this experience

The O. J. Tour is the only tour that takes you inside the O. J. Simpson murder trial. I'll show you the crime scene, Rockingham, the infamous Mezzaluna restaurant, and much more. I'll tell you the story firsthand from my perspective as a Brentwood native who grew up in the middle of the Crime of The Century. I am an author and one preeminent expert on the cultural legacy of the case and have been featured in The Independent, LA Times, The New Republic, Vice, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times.

I'll tell the story from start to finish, including details and facts not covered in any of the documentaries. I'll also we've in stories from my first hand account of what the neighborhood was like during the trial.

    Very Knowledgeable Tour Guide

Adam was very knowledgeable about OJ's potential whereabouts and actions on and around the night of the incident. We saw numerous sights including Nicole's residence where she first met Kato, where the killings happened, the site of OJ's former residence, and more. Adam answered all our questions and was an excellent your guide for the one hour tour. He made sure we were comfortable in the car and was an excellent driver.

Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience in LA (Fraudulent)

I made the original booking on 17th January. On 5th February, he emailed me requesting to change the date from the 24th to the 25th. I replied explaining that I was unable to do so as I already had a full-day excursion booked for that day. He never responded, so I reasonably assumed that the original plans for the 24th remained in place. On the day of the excursion, he failed to turn up. I had already paid £40 for an Uber to the location and arrived 15 minutes early, and I am now having to pay for another Uber back to my hotel all for a complete waste of time. I have received no further communication from this individual and will be reporting this matter as fraud. Having travelled all the way from the UK, this experience has unfortunately affected my overall view of my trip to LA.

Response from the operator: Sorry for the misunderstanding! I had messaged you back in February letting you know the date you booked was unavailable. This is a one man show and I’m the only one with the knowledge to do this tour. If something comes up the tour can’t happen. I canceled your booking for which received notification, and you were not charged, but I guess I should have sent an additional reminder email as well. I feel awful about the misunderstanding. Next time you are in LA please contact me and you can do the tour free of charge. I’d also like to cover your Uber to and from the tour site. Please email Me at a***@c********.com for work it out. Thanks

For those who just need more OJ

Adam was a very informative guide. He lived the OJ saga as a kid, being in the same class as Justin. So his first hand accounts really add to his passion and give a personal touch that even a lot of experts couldn't give. You hit all the major spots and he paints a great picture of what Brentwood was like in the mid 1990s.

O.J. Touched me and my family deeply :)

I actually got to meet O.J. He greeted us with a warm smile and a very touchy hug, but was somewhat comforting. He even gave us some cool stories and facts that only he would know. The tour itself was also enjoyable. We got to put on the gloves that he had allegedly used, but they were too small for my hands. 10/10 recommend even if he is guilty.

The OJ Simpson Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santa Monica.

How much does The OJ Simpson Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $275 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santa Monica usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The OJ Simpson Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santa Monica is not rushed.

Is The OJ Simpson Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Santa Monica, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The OJ Simpson Tour?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is The OJ Simpson Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The OJ Simpson Tour?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Monica can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santa Monica and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The OJ Simpson Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santa Monica within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santa Monica?

    +

Santa Monica is where most LA coast tours start: beach bike and e-bike rides to Venice, surf lessons, food walks on Third Street and open-top runs up Pacific Coast Highway. On Outty we rank every Santa Monica experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Los Angeles Guided City Tour with 4 Stops and Free Time, Half Day Best of Los Angeles City Tour from Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills & Celebrity Homes Tour by Open Air Bus. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santa Monica?

    +

March to May and September to November, dodging the June marine layer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santa Monica?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
