Amazing start in Peru

We went on a two-day tour and everything was just perfect. Doris did an amazing job organizing it, and even managed to add an extra activity to the package at our request. Our guide, Jonathan, provided us with tons of interesting information — whether it was about history, culture, or everyday life in modern Peru. He was super helpful in answering all our questions and clearly knows the area inside and out, including all the hidden gems. Highly recommended. – Fanni& István

Can’t miss it!

We had a great experience thanks to Lima Highlight Tours. the places we visited were unique, the SUV we were transported in was very comfortable and clean, and the restaurants we had lunch at were delicious. We first started our tour visiting the Nazca Lines. It was so interesting to learn about the Nazca culture and about Marie Reiche. Jonathan, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable, and explained many things to us before we went up in to the air to see those interesting figures that have remained like that over time. We also visited the Cantalloc aqueducts in Nazca, very interesting. Our experience in the Huacachina Oasis was also unforgettable. Watching the sunset over the dunes was amazing, and the dune buggy ride and sand boarding was pure adrenaline. We felt in a roller coaster driving over those dunes! The Paracas National Reserve was full of beautiful contrasting landscapes given by the ocean, desserts, cliffs and wild birds. We drove buggies to be able to contemplate all the beautiful landscapes. Great experience! Since the coast guards were not allowing boats to go to the Ballestas Islands that day, we ended up going to a Pisco Vineyard to taste the different types of Pisco in Peru. Nice stop! We totally recommend this tour to everyone. At the moment of doing our booking, Doris responded promptly to all our questions. Alejandro, the driver, made sure we arrived safe and on time to every destination. He was also very friendly. Jonathan, our tour guide really made sure we had a great experience during our tour and learned from those regions we visited. It’s so nice to find tour guides that are so passionate and knowledgeable about their culture. The next day we arrived from the tour, we decided to take a Lima city tour with Lima Highlights and it worked out great as well. Jonathan organized everything for us and we were taken to the airport at the end of the day to finish our visit. We had a memorable time, thanks again Lima Highlight Tours!

Must do!!!

Traveling privately with Lima Highlight Tours added many memories to my trip to Peru. The Nazca Lines were impressive. Our guide, Lucas was very knowledgeable and took us to the aqueducts on land and some other Nazca ruins before our overflight In order to deepen our knowledge of this ancient culture. On our way back to lima he also stopped at a cat that was drawn by a culture previous to the Nazcas. The dune buggy ride at the Huacachina oasis was an adrenaline rush as was the sand boarding. The paracas national Reserve was filled with visitas of the desert, cliffs, beaches and ocean. We also saw fossilized algae since this was an ancient ocean. The SUV was very comfortable which is important because it is a long trip. The driver, Alonso, drove safely and We were able to sleep during the longer drives. I also didn’t airport transfers and a city tour with lima highlight. They are very accommodating and helpful. They speak wonderful English and I felt safe at all times.

The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lima.

How much does The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip cost?

+

Prices start at $440 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lima usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lima is not rushed.

Is The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lima, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lima can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lima and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Nazca Lines, Paracas & Huacachina Oasis (2D/1N) Private Trip start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lima within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lima?

+

On Outty we rank every Lima experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Peruvian Cooking Class, Local Market Tour & Exotic Fruit Tasting, The Complete Lima Experience: History, Culture & Flavors, #1 Rated Lima Cooking Class: Make Ceviche, Causa & Pisco Sours!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lima?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lima?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
