Children's Pool Beach is a small sandy beach area located at 850 Coast Boulevard, at the end of Jenner Street, in San Diego, California. Aerial view of the pool, May 2011, with over 200 seals on the beach The Children's Pool earned its name after the construction of a concrete breakwater in 1931. The structure was gifted to the community of La Jolla by the local philanthropist Ellen Browning Scripps, who paid for the construction of a breakwater project in order to create a place where children could play and swim that would be protected from waves coming onshore and the beaches adjacent to this area.

Beautiful views
Fun bike ride with great views! We had several quick stops along the water seeing some beautiful views. My Soledad offered great views too! The veterans memorial there is so well done, and I’m glad we got to see it. We have done a lot of different bike tours on our travels. This one was great! Difficulty level: easy. Our kids, 16 & 13, did great on their e-bikes. Kevin was a great guide! And bonus: the bikes my husband and I were on had baskets; perfect for our waters and my bag.

"E" ticket ride!
This tour was so much fun. We had never ridden an E-bike before - but it was so easy; and the sights were amazing! From the tallest point in La Jolla on the top of Mount Soledad to multiple stops along the beachside and points of interest in between. The tour ends in La Jolla village just in time to enjoy lunch at one of the cafes.
