About this experience
Toast to Ptown’s past on a Commercial Street stroll blending craft cocktails and bohemian history. Perfect for drink lovers and history buffs, this tour celebrates our maritime, artistic, and LGBTQ+ legacy. Kick off at local establisment with a Cape Cod Blueberry Martini. Enter the Old Colony Tap Room, one of America's oldest, most weathered dives made completely from old shipwrecks. Pass the iconic Lobster Pot and Governor Bradford to stop at Lopes Square to see its 1801 anchor, and learn about the old colony railroad. Look up at the UU Meeting House’s 1847 Greek Revival steeple, then head into the Ptown Library to glimpse the grand schooner inside. Pay homage to literary history at the Atlantic House (A-House), a 1798 tavern loved by Tennessee Williams. Next, keep the energy high with a shaken Espresso Martini at a local favorite. Finally, wrap up at the famous Boatslip Resort for the legendary Tea Dance—a disco-fueled, open-air tradition pulsing since the 1970s.

So much fun!!!
This was a wonderful 90 minute experience. The tour guide Cathy was outstanding! Super knowledgeable, down to earth, energetic and funny! We got to explore ptown while learning some cool history, and made a couple of stops for drinks along the way. What more could we ask for?! Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to try out more of Cathy’s tours once we are back.
Response from the operator: Hi Maddie!! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a review! Can't wait to have you back! Cathy

Missed out on a few things
Cathy was very knowledgeable and funny. We did not get to go inside library or experience the disco dance party. We had some rain but we kept going. So maybe ask about these things before you book.
Response from the operator: Hi There, Thank you for taking the time to leave me a review! We didn't go into the library because it was closed unfortunately. The T-dance, I believe is what you are referring to and that is an optional choice for guests. Thank you so much! Cathy

Great way to experience PTown
I had a great time on the tour. Kathy is a wealth of knowledge and I really enjoyed learning more about the nooks and crannies of Provincetown. The cocktail was amazing and it was perfect to stop and refresh along the way. Thank you Kathy for such a great time. I would highly recommend the tour to others.

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Martinis & Mingle Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Cod.
How much does The Martinis & Mingle Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Cod usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Martinis & Mingle Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Cod is not rushed.
Is The Martinis & Mingle Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Cod, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Martinis & Mingle Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Martinis & Mingle Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Martinis & Mingle Tour?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Cod can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Cod and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Martinis & Mingle Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Cod within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Cod?
+
Cape Cod covers Provincetown whale watching over Stellwagen Bank, dune tours in the National Seashore, seal cruises off Chatham, lighthouse loops and ferry day trips to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Whale sighting policies vary between operators. On Outty we rank every Cape Cod experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Lucinda Lipol Tour of Provincetown, Chatham Bites and Sights Walking Guided Food Tasting Tour, Wine and Wine Jelly-Sauce Tasting on Plymouth Bay. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Cod?
+
June to September, with whales from April to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Cod?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
