Fab food, Kwan was great!
We booked this food tour to make sure we ate authentic Thai food while in Bangkok. This was the best way to do this! We ate 12+ dishes and had a wonderful tour of Chinatown and Songwat. Kwan was a great tour guide and the walking between each place was a good distance (enough time to digest food in between spots!). We ate food I’d never thought I’d eat and we made great friends chatting to the other people on the tour. A fantastic way to spend an evening in Bangkok!

Poor communication
We arrived 5 minutes late and no one was there. We tried to make contact on our way to explain and have repeatedly emailed to try and make contact with no response. Very poor communication.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry that we missed the opportunity to welcome you on our tour. We'd just like to clarify a few details. Our guide arrived at the meeting point on time and waited until 5:12 PM. During that time, she also returned to the meeting point twice, at approximately 5:06 PM and 5:10 PM, to check if your group had arrived, but unfortunately she wasn't able to find anyone. We were also sorry to read your comments about our communication. We didn't receive any messages from you on 12 July, the day of your tour. The first email we received was sent on 13 July at 9:20 PM, more than a day after the scheduled tour, and we replied as soon as we could. We understand how disappointing it is when travel plans don't go as expected, and we're genuinely sorry that we weren't able to connect on the day. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Thailand.

Great food experience
Great guide. Went to lots of places we would never go to without a guide. Lots of food so do not eat before hand. Very hot and so dress appropriately. Also really busy on the streets and so if crowds are not your thing this is not for you. We really enjoyed it and gave us an authentic experience. You finish really close to the tube station and so travel was easy.

Be hungry 😋
Kwan was great! She took us to some amazing places and explained some of the history behind what we were seeing and eating. Would definitely go again!

Great tour, great food
Great tour! We had a really good time with Kwan as our guide! She knew a lot about food and we could ask all the questions about thai culture. Very friendly and intersted guide. We had a good time, the food was very good as well!

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 59 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Highest Rated Food Tour in Bangkok 10+ Tastings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
