A beautiful unforgettable trip to sunny Armenia!
Good afternoon, everyone! I want to leave a review of an unforgettable classic tour to Armenia - The Great Beauty 2026. I came back from this tour the other day, and emotions don't let go, I want to be back in the fairy tale we were in! Our tour was from 4.04 to 10.04, but we arrived a day early and left 9.04 after the excursion program, flying a small company: me, my adult 25-year-old daughter, a friend and her 9-year-old daughter. Why did you mention age because everyone was very interested and comfortable, whether it was a child or an adult. I'll start from the beginning: we met at the airport in a comfortable car, and we were escorted as well. Checked into a nice little hotel in the heart of the city, near Casakad, all within walking distance, we never used a taxi, always walked in our spare time. On the first day of the tour, our wonderful guide Gore was waiting for us at the hotel reception, this young man was just captivated at first sight: always a smile on his face, glowing beautiful blue eyes, and how he loves his country Armenia, how lovingly he talked about it, knows so much, any question always had an exhaustive answer! Our driver Ashot is also worthy of much praise: a seasoned, calm, intelligent man, and most importantly a professional in his field. Very comfortable was the mini bus, which covered our km. And our super journey has begun! How many things we saw and visited, it's impossible to put it into words, the program is very well designed, and our guide Gore was also swapped for a couple of days so that we could get everywhere. Because they had an Easter holiday. So trust him unconditionally, if you have him, he knows what he's doing! And the way we were fed, there's just no words, it was always different places, not just cafes, but restaurants, even if it was the guest houses where we dined, it was delicious freshly prepared food. Abundance of everything: always several types of salad, cheese, different lavas, first, hot and dessert. Wine, freshly brewed coffee in Armenian, mmm, pile everything!) We barely left the table with enough. Don't ask why this is Armenian hospitality, they can't do it otherwise! Also the hotels deserve attention, changed them 4 times, all good level, everywhere very clean, in general in Armenia clean, such a people, it says a lot! Comfortable beds, it's important when you drive and walk a lot, you want to rest in comfort. Everything was top-notch, absolutely everything, we were happy and content to go home! My daughter even wanted to move to this sunny land!) I would like to express my great gratitude to Barev Armenia for the excellent organization, for the excellent holiday, a special thanks to our wonderful guide Gore, this is a super professional of his business, when they found out that we will have him, realized that the journey will be 100% excellent, driver Ashot for safety and comfort! Prosperity to your firm, your country Armenia, grateful customers. We'll definitely be back! I'm sorry for this big review, but I couldn't otherwise!) Love Ksenia from Moscow!)

Everyone is advised to come to Armenia at least once in their life!
Three days ago our trip to Armenia ended... ((incredible, sunny, warm and very delicious!!! The most memorable! Armenia is at the heart of it, and we will definitely come back here again. Some incredible people everywhere, very warm, very friendly and hospitable. We sincerely advise the travel agency that organized our holiday - Barev Armenia. They're professionals with capital letters, not a single hitch, not a single problem. We're very lucky to have an agency guide, Gore. He is just a walking encyclopedia, any question, and even no questions, because the stories were exhaustive, the trips were thought out to detail, everything was taken into account. What delicious food there is! Every day we dined in a new restaurant (!), it is the restaurant, and it is simply impossible to describe our feelings, it must be tasted – hash, dolma, lyula kebab, incredible soups, grilled baked vegetables, salads of freshest vegetables, delicious and freshest cheeses, house wine (naturally in each restaurant it is different). I even thought at first that we had mixed up tours and accidentally signed up for a tour)). We sincerely and sincerely recommend the tour we took -a classic winter tour. We visited holy places for Armenia - ancient temples, monasteries, unique monuments of culture and art and all this near the stunning nature ... unforgettable Ararat, ancient khachkars, deep gorges, crystal air ... impressions are very, very many, they are overwhelming. And also the very impressive Vernisage in Yerevan, where you can find real treasures, unforgettable Opera and Ballet Theatre, where we were lucky enough to see the ballet "Gayane", and the idiosyncratic market of dried fruit Tashir (we regret buying so little) But of course we did not see even a small part of all the treasures, so we must definitely come again)! We thank the agency, our beautiful guide Horus, and the Almighty, of course, for making things so perfect for us!!! With respect, Sergei and Svetlana from Moscow (dates of travel 20.02.26 – 26.02.26)

Travel to Armenia
My daughter and I really enjoyed the trip. The holiday was successful. The tour took place almost all over Armenia. Were in late September-early October. The weather was very comfortable. We admired the beautiful nature, mountains and waterfalls, plunged into the rich, sometimes very tragic history of Armenia, visited ancient monasteries and khachkars. We really liked the organization of the tour:everything is clear, without delay, good hotels throughout the route. We especially want to note how the food was organized, like a Caucasian feast. We came for lunch, and as a large family, sat down at one big table, drank homemade wine and ate delicious food! That was great! And, of course, I want to express my great gratitude to our guide Gore for his professionalism, for his love of his country, for his excellent knowledge of history and excellent presentation of the material! He was a great pleasure to travel with! And Barev Company we wish success and prosperity!Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing first experience traveling through Armenia! A place to go back to
For a long time I was looking for a company that organizes such tours, which are designed for a week, with meals, accommodation, guide, transfer, and what particularly liked - is that for a few days we traveled with overnight stays in other cities. There was a great hotel in Yerevan, with a very convenient location, right by the Cascade. The view from my window was right over Ararat. The staff are very polite and sympathetic. All breakfasts, lunches and dinners were delicious and varied. Sometimes there was a buffet, which was also a pleasure. The first day was a welcome dinner with live music. We had an amazing guide Gor Karapetyan and an equally pleasant driver who accompanied us all the days - Ashot Sakanyan. The guide is very educated, enjoyable to listen to, knows the answer to any question, watched our comfort. The tour program itself is very full. I've seen a lot, I've been impressed and I'd even go to all these places again. This “Classic tour of Armenia” took place from September 12 to 18 - a comfortable time of year for travel in Armenia, there is no longer such heat. On this trip I celebrated my birthday and the tour organizers did not ignore it - thank you very much for that, it was very nice! Tour organizers are always in touch, helping with all questions. I recommend this company for travel in Armenia!

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yerevan.
How much does The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1,750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yerevan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yerevan is not rushed.
Is The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yerevan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yerevan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yerevan and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yerevan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yerevan?
+
On Outty we rank every Yerevan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Group Tour: Lake Sevan (Sevanavank), Dilijan (Goshavank, Haghartsin), Group Tour: Khor Virap, Garni temple, Geghard, Lavash baking, Group Tour: Garni pagan temple, Geghard monastery, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yerevan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yerevan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour?
+
Included: Guide service; Lunch; 0.5L water per person per day; All Fees and Taxes; and Dinner. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 1 listed pickup location in and around Yerevan. Be ready about 20 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is The Great Beauty of Armenia: 7-Day Culture and Cuisine Tour wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
