Extraordinary site with incredible guide

Kostandinos was an amazing guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Our crew was 4 adults and 4 children, ages 14, 8, 5, and 1. On the way to Meteora, Kostandinos took us to a local bakery that was incredible. He was friendly and told stories and interesting facts about the countryside throughout the drive. He was great with the small children we had with us. He and the almost two-year-old became friends and he took her to get gelato in one of the towns. On our way home, he and the fourteen-year-old bonded over basketball and he made a special stop at Giannis Court where the fourteen-year-old got to play a pickup game - a must do for his trip. The Meteora rocks and monasteries are an incredible site to behold - unlike any other site. We visited two of the monasteries which were interesting but the drive to them and viewpoints along the way were the most spectacular part of the trip. We also had lunch near Meteora and stopped at the site of the Battle of Thermopylae (the 300 Spartans). It was a 12 hour + day but it went quickly and we had a great time. Highly recommend this tour company, especially with Kostandinos as your guide. We booked directly with them. They were easy to contact and always replied almost instantly.

Best Meteora day trip experience ever (solo female traveler)

I was in Athens for a business trip and had some open time. I had read the Meteora were a must do so I started researching - I was solo and without a car therefore it was important that the 5 hour one way drive (x2) also be nice. (Note some other tour operators actually discouraged me from this trip because of the driving time but it was on my bucket list so I proceeded anyhow.) Enjoy Greece Tours EXCEEDED expectations! George and Demetrius were my drivers and we had a blast! They were very chatty and I felt so comfortable and relaxed. I learned quite a bit about Greece - the people, the history/sites, the food and more - and had a lot of laughs too. They were polite and very considerate - I felt as if I was travelling with good friends! Once we got to Meteora they had arranged a private guide for me and made sure I was well taken care of. They drove me to many photo op locations and were super accommodating. We had a lovely meal together in addition to stops for treats and coffee. I highly recommend Enjoy Greece Tours - especially George and Demetrius - you will not be disappointed in fact you will absolutely thrilled with your experience! I will be sure to look them up when I go back!

How much does The Extraordinary Suspended Rocks, Meteora in a day tour cost?

+

Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Extraordinary Suspended Rocks, Meteora in a day tour take?

+

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is The Extraordinary Suspended Rocks, Meteora in a day tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Extraordinary Suspended Rocks, Meteora in a day tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Extraordinary Suspended Rocks, Meteora in a day tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Extraordinary Suspended Rocks, Meteora in a day tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Extraordinary Suspended Rocks, Meteora in a day tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

+

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
