    The Ultimate Experience

The Evel Knievel experience certainly was entertaining. Growing up in Scotland, we found Evel Knievel and he instantly got our attention, we never had this before a daredevil, a pioneer in bringing the unique and death defying stunts to the masses. I had some memorable moments, with my toys and other than seeing his jumps. Which stood out as no one diss was doing what he did. I never knew too much about Evel Knievel, we didn’t have the abundance of information available to us then as we do now. My visit I never saw possible finding out his journey and how in his earlier career, he had developed his own team to bring his “daredevil” act to us. The technology we have now in motorbikes as some of his rides easily were 500lbs, I don’t know on brands but the bikes he used. Not intended for what he used them for and even at times should not have been used. After my visit, I spent around two and a half hours. This way I was able to take in the whole experience. Confirming that from his childhood, he always stood out and was not shy in letting people see what he envisioned. It was easy back then as not too many people, undertook what he grew his act into. This allowed them to garnish the style and look of the stunts performed. Certainly left its mark. Even to this day, I am glad I had the opportunity to visit the experience and knowing more about a hero that we had growing up. I’m being honest if truly helped the way I was able to learn and experience an experience. Side note I spoke with Steve and he was a friend of Evel his stories helped me understand even more. Growing up as a kid and getting to know more about Evel Knievel certainly was an experience. Thank you for having me, this Scotsman and the multiple pictures I have. Will live on for me years to come.

A New Vegas Experience to add to your list.

Loved it. My wife and I are both the right age to remember his heydays. The displays were excellently executed. A great mix of exhibits and information placards. The displays take you chronologically through his life. There’s a few films to watch that provide a nice chance to sit and rest. We also sprang for the virtual motorcycle jump that was pretty cool. I would be amiss if I didn’t mention the staff. Every staff member without exception was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly and eager to answer questions. We went shortly after it opened and I don’t think the public has caught on yet. It’s located in the arts district that the public is starting to discover, so I can see it starting to get busier soon.

    Well worth it

I have been an Evel Knievel fan since my first jump in 1972. The museum brings out the kid in you as you travel through the years. They did an amazing job time stamping history along the way. Steve the guide was very knowledgeable and overall a great personality for the museum. We ended up keeping the team after hours just talking and it was fantastic. We will be back and bringing others with next time. I won’t spoil it for others but the final part of the tour is AMAZING.

Response from the operator: bobf, it’s amazing to hear that the museum brought back so many memories from your years as an Evel fan. We’re especially grateful for your kind words about Steve and the team, and we love that your visit turned into such a memorable experience that you’re already planning to return with others.

The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Las Vegas.

How much does The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Las Vegas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas take?

    +

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Las Vegas is not rushed.

Is The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Las Vegas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Las Vegas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Las Vegas and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Evel Knievel Experience in Las Vegas start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Las Vegas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Las Vegas?

    +

Las Vegas sells two trips at once: the Strip after dark, and the red-rock desert that starts twenty minutes past the last casino. Helicopter runs to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam half-days and Red Rock Canyon drives all leave early, while show tickets, speakeasy crawls and high-roller dining fill the evening. Outty Ranking weighs operator reliability heavily here, because the gap between a well-run desert tour and a coach-and-queue version is enormous. On Outty we rank every Las Vegas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group: Valley of Fire Half Day Tour from Las Vegas, Small Group Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains VIP Tour, Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam Stop, Breakfast, Lunch & Skywalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Las Vegas?

    +

October to April. Summer highs above 105F make midday outdoor tours punishing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Las Vegas?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
