    A nice tour of Mykonos

On the driving tour we got to see very scenic portions of Mykonos with our very personable guide and driver Nikolas. Our walking tour guide Bill was very informative. And we had time for a nice snack lunch and some shopping. The only negative was that the walking tour was a bit long because we did a round trip from the Old Port. Would have been nice to get picked up at the far end of Old Town for our return to ship. But still a nice tour of beautiful and interesting Mykonos.

Response from the operator: Dear Glenn, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring the beautiful and scenic parts of Mykonos with Nikolas and that you found Bill informative and engaging during the walking portion of the tour. We’re also happy you had time to enjoy a nice snack and some shopping along the way! We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the length of the walking tour and understand that every guest has different preferences when it comes to sightseeing and walking. Our itinerary is designed to offer a balanced experience of Mykonos, including approximately two hours of exploring by vehicle and two hours of walking, as outlined in the tour description. This allows guests to experience both the island’s scenic highlights and the charm, history, and atmosphere of Mykonos Old Town. That said, we completely understand your suggestion regarding the return route and sincerely appreciate you sharing it with us. Guest feedback is always valuable and helps us continue improving the experience we provide. Thank you again for joining us and for your kind words about our guides. We’re very happy to know that, overall, you enjoyed your day discovering the beauty and unique character of Mykonos. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future! Kind regards, Zuzanna Vexperio TEAM

    My trip

The tour guides were good but there wasn't much to see othe then the windmills and large villas. I woukd have liked to see more historical sites.

Response from the operator: Dear Frank, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your guides and appreciate their efforts in showing you around Mykonos. We also sincerely appreciate your comments regarding the historical sites. We completely understand that every guest has different interests and expectations when exploring a destination, and some visitors naturally prefer a stronger focus on history and cultural landmarks. Our itinerary is carefully designed to help guests experience as much of Mykonos as possible during the approximately four hours of the tour. It combines the island’s scenic highlights, traditional architecture, beautiful views, local culture, and important historical and architectural landmarks. In addition to the famous windmills and scenic areas of the island, the tour includes highlights such as Ano Mera, its traditional character and monastery area, as well as the historic Church of Panagia Paraportiani and other points of cultural and architectural interest in Mykonos Town. We always aim to create a well-balanced experience that allows guests to see and understand Mykonos from different perspectives within the time available. That said, we truly value your feedback and understand that a more history-focused experience would have been your personal preference. Thank you again for joining us and for sharing your thoughts. Feedback from our guests is very important to us and helps us continue improving the experience we offer. We hope you still enjoyed discovering the beauty, character, and unique atmosphere of Mykonos, and we would be delighted to welcome you again in the future! Kind regards, Zuzanna Vexperio TEAM

We had a great day with...

We had a great day with our Guide on the walking tour of Mykonos. We saw all of the sites and some hidden gems. He had great spots to get the best photos. The second half of the tour was vis mini bus with Nicololi. He drove us around the Island to see how the people lived with several great spots. Very worthwhile and a fun day.

    Great Guide

Bill was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and made our Mykonos tour such an enjoyable experience. He knew all of the key locations to visit, including some of the best spots for photos, and he was more than willing to take pictures for us along the way — and he did a great job! Bill was very familiar with the island and shared helpful information throughout the tour. He also spoke English very well, which made communication easy and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time with him and would definitely recommend Bill to anyone looking for a wonderful tour experience in Mykonos!

    Authentic Mykonos

Authentic Mykonos (Shore Excursion Group.) This trip was a good overview of Mykonos. Among other sights, we went to Port of St.Ioannis (Church), Ano Mera Village and the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani. We enjoyed our time at the Mykonian Farm, seeing the goats. We wanted to split a lunch, but the additional cost to share was eight Euros, which we felt was inappropriate, so we had lunch in town, after our tour. The tour guide, Stephanie, was very good, other than she was coughing continuously, which concerned us.

Response from the operator: Dear Jay, After reviewing the details of your review, we believe there may have been a mix-up regarding the tour operator. The tour you describe - including the Port of St. Ioannis, Ano Mera Village, the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, and the Mykonian Farm - corresponds to the “Authentic Mykonos” tour offered by Shore Excursions Group (which you did mention in your review). The tour name and itinerary mentioned in your review do not correspond to a tour operated by us. We have checked our records and, based on the information available to us, you did not participate in this tour with our company. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to comment on the guide, lunch arrangements, or other aspects of an excursion that we did not operate. We would kindly ask that you verify the tour operator before leaving a review, as reviews attributed to the wrong company can be misleading for both the business and future guests. We hope you enjoyed your time in Mykonos and that you will consider correcting or removing the review once the mix-up has been clarified. Warm regards, Magdalena Vexperio

The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mykonos.

How much does The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships cost?

    +

Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mykonos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mykonos is not rushed.

Is The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 125 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mykonos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships?

    +

Around 44 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mykonos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mykonos and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does The Best Mykonos Small-Group Shore Excursion for Cruise Ships start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mykonos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mykonos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mykonos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tour and Wine Tasting in Mykonian Land, Local Tour with Cruise/Hotel Pick-Up(Small Group or Private), Catamaran Day & Sunset Cruises with meals Drinks and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mykonos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mykonos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
