Interesting and Informative
Dean was very sweet, and not your usual tea experience. First it’s private, just your group or twosome. Mini tour of island, but local areas and history in some of the hotels. I have been to Bermuda 10-12 times and this was almost ALL new. Stops to smell, feel and experience some of the local flora and fauna. Deans garden where ALL the herbs used to make the tea were gotten fresh. This is were the experience is really different, tasting 4 different teas with the mixture of herbs that were just picked with dean. Some snacks to nibble on while doing tasting. A lot of sharing with Dean as I am a cook and tea drinker. This is something that I would definitely recommend for anyone who really wants to see and learn about bermudian life.

Awesome tea and tales with Dean!
Dean was an excellent host for this experience. He drove us around the island for about an hour stopping at some of the most scenic areas and explaining historically important events. Then we went to his house where he picked herbs from his garden and made us three different kinds of tea. Additionally we had scones and other treats. 100% recommend Dean and this experience!

Bermuda Cruise
Dean was our tour guide and was fantastic. The tour was better than advertised. We were the only 2 on the tour and got to see parts of the island. He makes homemade tea from plants in his backyard. He spoke British English and was easy to understand. Very polite and well mannered dude. Would highly recommend.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Long Island.
How much does The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $159 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Long Island usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Long Island is not rushed.
Is The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Long Island, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Long Island can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Long Island and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The Bermuda Tea and Tales Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Long Island within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Long Island?
+
Long Island covers North Fork winery tours, Hamptons beach days, Gold Coast mansion visits and fishing or sailing charters, most reachable as a day trip from Manhattan. On Outty we rank every Long Island experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Transfer in Black SUV to or from JFK, LGA, EWR, Skip the Lines Reliable Comfortable and stress free Rides, Black SUV Transfer From or To JFK, LGA, EWR - All Fees Included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Long Island?
+
May to October, with harvest tastings peaking in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Long Island?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
