A beautiful insight into the production of the Nizzian wine

The excursion is recommended. Not only did we taste good wine and learn about the wine in Nice. Also, the view at both locations was beautiful. The first stop was in a small family business. We had a personal tour and were able to move freely in the vines there. The second stop was in a chapel, which is now the place of production and the point of sale of the second wine. The view up there alone is worth a trip. In the whole we were super looked after. The driver then gave us tips at the end where we could eat. All in all it was a great experience!

Response from the operator: Vielen Dank für Ihr nettes Feedback, ich hoffe, Sie sehr bald in unserer Region zu sehen Mit freundlichen Grüßen Amandine

My worst experience with Viator services.

Very expensive and miserable experience. We paid $348 for the tour +EUR100 for wine tasting. Visited two wineries. The whole trip was around 4 hours or so. During this trip we were not not offered a single glass of water or a piece of bread or cheese. Yes, we do get our 5 sips of wine in each place, but you will agree that wine tasting without a glass of water is not the most pleasant thing. We felt quite humiliated as in the second winery, the rest of the 3 other tables were offered small snacks, but nothing for us, although we paid the full cost of the tour. Very uncomfortable situation. The driver came late to pick up us from the second place, because there was a car electronics malfunction. For US$348 we could expect unbroken car, huh? Last year we went to a similar trip in Italy. This was an excellent experience. If you ask my advice, go to Italy!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your comment, but you forgot to specify that the visit to the 2 vineyards, also includes the visit to the cellars and the estate, the cellars and the castle for cremat, each visit includes 3 different wines, the goal not being to drink the cellar but good to test, you can buy cheese and charcuterie on the spot but it is not included in the visit and the tasting of 25€/pers for each vineyard the 320€ are the costs related to the driver who accompanies you during 4 hours with a Mercedes vehicle, you can if you do not need this service use a taxi the total cost to do this service in transfer with a driver speaking only French and not English will cost you 70€/transfer for a total of 210€ around and you should wait for him to come when you call him because at this price he does not stay on site

Perfect French Wine Tasting, Really Close to Nice

Beautiful Château and vineyard. Tour guide was excellent, really engaging and knowledgeable. The wines were all lovely and the area used for the tasting (terrace under the trees) was perfect for our group. Set in beautiful hills, definitely worth a visit!

Response from the operator: thanks for your feedback , we are very pleased to organise that tour for your group hope to see you under the sun of Nice , Best regards Amandine

    Horrible not worth the visit

We arrived to this wine tour having great expectations. Unfortunately, it all evaporated within 5 minutes. First, this place is so small, and their production is really minimal, with about 25000 bottles per year. This covers red, white and rose. They do not have a bottling line, and all their wines are stored in a small 60 SM cellar. So far so good though, until we started tasting the wines, which were not great at all, and their prices are at par with first growth wines. In addition, they charge 20 euros per person for the tasting. Just ridiculous. I wish I had seen a review about this winery before I visited.

    Belle wine tasting

This was an excellent trip. We started at a small family run vineyard which was lovely and intimate. We then moved to a bigger vineyard where the talk was informative and the setting beautiful. Our tour guide was great and really helpful about the area in general and where to go as well as local knowledge. He was a lovely man and assisted with translation at the first vineyard. Would recommended this tour.

the Bellet wine tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.

How much does the Bellet wine tasting cost?

    +

Prices start at $507 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does the Bellet wine tasting take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.

Is the Bellet wine tasting worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule the Bellet wine tasting?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is the Bellet wine tasting suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book the Bellet wine tasting?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does the Bellet wine tasting start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
