Spend a day exploring Teotihuacan and getting to know a little piece of our family’s Mexico We keep groups personal and comfortable, traveling in our vans rather than large tour buses. We don’t take you from one tourist stop to another; instead, we want to share the places, food and traditions that are part of our daily lives Before the pyramids, you’ll be welcomed into our grandmother’s home for breakfast with our family. Then we’ll explore Teotihuacan together, talking about its archaeology, history, architecture and the people who once called this ancient city home After our visit, we’ll return to our family home for lunch and share two recipes that mean a lot to us: our red and green mole, passed down through generations. We’ll finish with a small tasting of local pulque, including natural pulque, distilled pulque and locally made liqueurs We simply want you to leave having seen Teotihuacan, tasted our food, met our family and experienced a little bit of Mexico the way we know it!

Excellent experience!
We had a great experience with Hugo and Gabriel, and their whole family. They were so knowledgeable about Teotihuacan and were so wonderful! If we would have gone to the pyramids without them, we wouldn’t have learned anything! The food and the pulque were delicious. Highly recommend!

Best pyramid tour!
My husband and I had such a great experience with Hugo and Gabriel. The pyramids were very cool and Hugo was so knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had. Their grandma’s lunch was so delicious, best mole I have ever had. My husband doesn’t like mole and LOVED it! This tour was truly worth the value and both Hugo and Gabriel were very kind. There was a family who took longer at a stop and they took the rest of us back for lunch first to not cause a delay. Highly recommend!

Worth it!
This tour was the highlight of our 6 days in Mexico City! Gabriel was a wonderful guide - friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable. The food and setting for breakfast and lunch was fantastic. My only suggestion would be to limit the initial serving of enchiladas at lunch to one of each and let people request more if desired - they were delicious but it was way too much food and I hated to waste it!

The best tour we did!
Informational tour with the added bonus of authentic food and drink! A tour you can’t get anywhere else!

Highly recommend
I loved my experience! It was worth every penny we paid and more. We didn’t have a car and didn’t want to be rushed, and all the other pyramid tours from Mexico City typically require longer time without a good solution for lunch. But Hugo and Gabriel thought it all out and put this family-run tour together that is as efficient, relaxing, and educational as this kind of pyramid tours can be. They drove two vehicles for all 18 of us, fed us, and answered our questions patiently and knowledgeably. Both Hugo and Gabriel are students of the history and so passionate about sharing their wealth of knowledge with others. They are the best tour guides I have ever had! Everything about this tour will be included in the costs you pay up front on this app. There are no traps for shopping or any sort that I heard other tours have. Highly Recommend!

+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
