Very custom and friendly,...

Very custom and friendly, small group size, in depth cultural and religious knowledge at both basilica and the temples. This is one of the few tour I find that goes to the highly unique and decorated Templo de Quetzalcóatl on top of the sun and moon one in Teotihuacan

Response from the operator: Thank you, thank you, thank you for your comment! We're delighted to know you had a great experience with our company. Come back soon!

Franco is an amazing tour guide!

We had an amazing experience with Guillermo Franco back in November. It was my husband, 3 year old son, & I, we started off in Tlatelolco. He then took us to the Plateria Rafael where my son got a handmade souvenir and we saw an official replica of the heart of the ocean (it was a small metal plate about the size of a bottle cap with a hand carved eagle warrior). Franco then recommended us some tamales from a vendor across the store and they were the most amazing tamales I’ve ever had (and I grew up on them, sorry mom). We also bought candy and tequila from a family owned store also across from the plateria where they offered us free samples, including free candy for my son. After all that Franco took us to the pyramids. The entire drive he was super understanding and offered to stop if we needed for our son to have any bathroom breaks. The entire trip at the pyramids he was incredibly informative and gave us a lot of information. We then had a late lunch at Ciria and after got a tour of how pulque was originated and is made with samples. We ended the tour at the Basilica de Guadalupe where again Franco guided throughout the area and explained the meaning behind the clock tower, 3 churches, and hill top. Throughout the entire car ride throughout the city he explained all the statues and monuments. We are already planning to go back with our family and will be booking Franco for our next guided tour because of us friendly personality and informative tours.

Jazmin

This tour was awesome. Felix was very helpful and easy to reach prior to my tour. As a solo female traveler I sometimes get nervous when going on tours, but I was paired with a female guide Eva whom was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend!!

Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Teotihuacan, Guadalupe Shrine & Tlatelolco Day-Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
