It could have been more in English - 5 min of Spanish explanation translated to 1 min of English translation.
It was average experience. Guide could have communicated more in English

We understand that language plays an important role in enjoying a tour, and we are sorry that the English explanations did not meet your expectations. Our guides always do their best. We will share your feedback with our team as we continue working to provide clearer and more consistent communication in English throughout the tour. Long day at the Pyramids
Guide was nice and informative, but tour stops in retail stores felt pushy. We just wanted to go to the pyramids and have time for lunch with transportation. We were told we had 3 hours at pyramids, so we booked a lunch at the cave, but guide said we didn't have time and took us to a restaurant (food was good) but wasn't what we wanted.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the guide informative and enjoyed some parts of the experience. We would like to mention that the itinerary, are described in advance within the tour information before booking. This shared experience is designed to provide a balanced overview of Teotihuacán, the Basilica, and local cultural stops within the available schedule. For travelers looking for a more flexible schedule or extended time exclusively at Teotihuacán, we also offer private tour options that can be fully customized. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help future travelers choose the experience that best matches their expectations. GORI Tours México From every step, a memory.

Worth it !
It was a great tour! It ran on time. The van was new, safe and comfortable. The group was pretty small. The stops were well planned with enough time to walk around on our own but not in excess where it feels a waste. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the experience, especially the punctuality, the comfort of the van, and the small group size. It’s great to know that the time at each stop and the attention from our guide made a difference during your tour. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure! Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.
How much does Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City cost?
+
Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.
Is Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Teotihuacan and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour from Mexico City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mexico City?
+
On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mexico City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
