Five-Star Feast and Faith
We had a tour with Sonali and she made our Delhi experience incredible. Knowing the vendors and pricing means you're getting a fair rate for everything and she really took the stress out of a chaotic environment when you first encounter it. We will definitely be back. - Andrew.

Great for solo female travellers
Such a great tour, informative and fun, I was travelling solo and nervous about finding the meeting point but my guide Dolly stayed in constant contact until I found her and helped arrange my transport back to the hotel. I recommend going when the spice market is open for the full experience.

Exceptional Old Delhi Temples & Bazaars Tour
We had a brilliant experience with Dolly during our week-long visit from London. We were looking for a stress-free, authentic introduction to Old Delhi, and Dolly delivered exactly that. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Mughal history and led us through a fascinating range of sites, including a Sikh Gurudwara, a Jain Temple, and a mosque. Dolly was particularly helpful in explaining the customs of each site, ensuring we felt comfortable and were able to respect the local traditions at every turn. Highlights of the tour included: The Spice Market: A truly fascinating sensory experience where Dolly shared insights into modern-day working practices. Authentic Lunch: A lovely meal to round off the day where she guided us through the flavors and history of the food. Teen-Friendly: My two teenagers and my husband were fully engaged the entire time. We also appreciated the total lack of pressure. Unlike other experiences we’ve had, Dolly never pushed us toward specific shops for commissions. It was a refreshing, honest, and deeply interesting slice of both history and modern life. Highly recommended to anyone wanting an insightful and relaxed tour of Old Delhi!
Response from the operator: We are pleased to host you and glad that you enjoyed the experience. It was our pleasure to host you, and we hope to welcome you on another adventure soon.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Temples Bazaars and Food Tasting in Old Delhi with Female Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
