The trip was what was expected. The launch a little difficult to get in and out of but the crew helped a lot. Lunch was great, the beach spots good. Nothing rushed. Water a little choppy which gave us a rough ride

Awful tour

I wrote this private message to the tour operator which he didn’t respond to: Hi Luis, We were very dissatisfied with the trip. In the original trip we were going to get 2 stops for snorkeling but instead we were taken 100 yards off shore for a 10 minute snorkel which was time restrained since we went out at 3:15 & had to be back to get on the boat at 3:30. We received our lunch wt 2 pm which was a whole hour after the first set of people got their lunch. We were told we couldn’t snorkle before lunch so we had to sit around and wait. The captain only shared information with people who were in the cabin area near him, the rest of us couldn’t hear him. Overall it was a very disorganized and inefficient trip. Humaira

Great but all in Spanish

We had a great day but booked it with an English guide according to the listing and there was no English spoken. It caused a bit of confusion. The boat was great, lunch was delicious and the beaches were beautiful. They’re not kidding about it not being appropriate for people with bad backs - the boat ride was rough! Mother Nature not the tour company’s fault! They did a good job herding the cats back to the boat to keep us on time. The snacks and water were appreciated throughout the day. At the lunch stop, it was a bit confusing- no one (including the Spanish speakers) realized we were there for 2 hours so didn’t take our towels, sunscreen or cash with us. We were able to get a boat ride to our moored boat to grab the stuff but clear communication would have helped all. Us northerners can’t be without sunscreen that long!! Snorkeling was fun- not great but still nice. Snorkeling was at the lunch beach. Would recommend! But be prepared to not understand anything- thank god for Google Translate.

Excellent day with Luis...

Excellent day with Luis and his crew. I was travelling solo and the only person who didn’t speak Spanish, but Luis always ensured I had the information and helped translate whenever needed. Nice way to see parts of Tayrona in 1 day. The water was incredibly warm and pleasant, chill swimming in each stop. We had a delicious lunch and small snacks on board, cold beer available for purchase.

Friendly guides! They took us to good spots and avoided the large crowds, pointed out different beaches and towns along the way- great experience!
