Taroudant seems to have been made for the eyes. The city was built before the arrival of Islam but had its golden period in the XVI century, when the Saadians made it their capital and called it Mohamédia. From this time, there are still 8 km of earth made walls, a proud remainder of the battles of the past. Walking through one of the monumental five city doors into the medina is almost like walking through time. The entangled city streets and alleys may at first seem a disastrous mess, but they are in fact part of a rigorous hierarchic plan. The mosque is the centre, immediately surrounded by the souk where the skilled artisans work their crafts. The souk is divided in sectors according to different crafts, and this division follows a precise order, from the least to the most valued skills. The houses are built around a central patio and keep the private city life form foreign eyes. Altogether Taroudant has an extremely peaceful vibe.

Excursion to Taroudant
Excursion from Taroudant from Agadir with mohamed who picked us up from the hotel at 8:30 in a comfortable van.. In taroudant, he entrusted us to Habib local guide who showed us around the city, ramparts, souk, market, crafts. Very good guide. Afterwards, we went to eat couscous at the oasis of tiout. Delicious, then visit the oasis with the restaurant owner. All right, too. Back on agadir around 5:30 p.m. Excellent day in other thanks to mohamed which is very interesting in describing what you see on the road and on local life. I recommend agharass tours without hesitation

8 of us did a wonderful tour out to...

8 of us did a wonderful tour out to this historic site. It was extremely hot that day but Mohamed make sure we had shade here and there. We went to a Berber village and had the most delightful lunch . We were not expecting this and we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food tasted. Our host for the meal wanted to show us and oasis and off we went to see that and that was very nice as well. We would recommend this tour Highly. Believe it or not we even got to see the goats up in the trees eating the leaves off the argon tree. We thought this was a joke when our guide showed us the trees on our way for the tour. Well we did see it and all eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our God and our time in Morocco

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Agadir?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Agadir?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
