  1. Tango Porteno

Tango Porteño, a unique and unrepeatable place ... Magically recreate the most important and transcendent era in the history of tango, framing it luxuriously in a building of those years that used to be a cinema-theater owned by the Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer. The old and beloved Metro, just a few steps from the Obelisk, today transforms into Tango Porteño, a place that combines a very refined setting and rescues the pure deco style of the golden age, complemented by an artistic cast, unsurpassed productions and a gastronomic display of great quality that lives up to the era it represents.

Worth the money for show and dinner

This was an amazing show with live band. Very talented dancers and singers. I would recommend doing the dinner show. The steak had no season g but the black spaghetti with shrimp dish was sooo tasty and so was the leek soup. They even brought out a big slice of cake with a candle lit for everyone that was celebrating a birthday that night.the VIP gets you a separate table technically but you a ONLY 5 inches away from next table

TO FEEL IN BUENOS AIRES

Nice show, dinner is in the theater itself, set up like a restaurant; The menu includes several starter, main course and dessert options, which have been named after the neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, which is very picturesque. Unlimited drinks (at least in the option we paid for). Regarding the show, it looks very organized and professional, the orchestra is excellent, with equal participation where my attention was drawn to the artists who played the bandoneon, the violin and others along with their male companions. The dance with very varied prints and costumes. One aspect that I would like to recommend is that they should have a presenter who briefly narrates the history of tango and presents each dance, since each one occurs in different contexts (the poor country house, the elegant salon, the brothel, etc.), for example. which the spectator, especially the tourist, would appreciate better if there was a brief presentation beforehand. Likewise, I would have liked each of the artists to be introduced at the end of the show, so that we can remember the names of those who made us have an excellent evening.

Response from the operator: Hola Luis, espero se encuentre bien. Muchas gracias por su crítica constructiva. Saludos!
