Fantastic and knowledgeable guide
Well attended, well resourced and knowledgeable tour. Having a friendly and in-the-know guide meant we were able to make the most of our time and know we weren’t missing anything. Thanks so much!

Not a great tour
Pick up at cruise was outside the port while other tours were right by ship. AC was not turned on in van and we asked several times. No information was shared during the drive. Ticket said free admission so it was assumed we could enter lighthouse and caves. They did not take euros or dollars so we did not get to go in either.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. However, please note that you booked a city tour, not a shore excursion. City tours depart from a designated meeting point outside the cruise port, which is different from the pick-up arrangements offered for shore excursions organized directly through the cruise line. We’ll also follow up with our team regarding the air conditioning and communication during the drive to ensure improvements. As for the attractions, entrance fees are not included in the city tour option, and payment must be made locally in the accepted currency. We appreciate your understanding and hope the rest of your trip went smoothly.

Not recommended! Too disorganized and dishonest
I don't recommend this company. I booked a day tour in Tangier but coordinated before with the company (Easy Transfer) because we had a friend taking the same tour from Casablanca to Tangier and we wanted to join her and return with her to Casablanca. The company was ok with this, but they wouldn't issue the return ticket to Casablanca for us (which was ok). We asked which train we needed to take and they told us a time that didn't exist. I insisted and they said they would tell us "closer to the date". A month before, still didn't know; 15 days, 7 days, 3 days, the day before! Not only didn't they know (or pretended not to know) the train, but were very rude and told me that "we told you we will tell you the day before and we will". No! We never discussed having this vital information the day before, I would never would have been ok with that, and they still didn't send it the day before! I issued our own tickets the day before at 6 PM for a 4 PM train, obviously there were no more direct trains, and they send me the information AT 11 PM!!! I was obviously sleeping! I guess they didn't tell me so they could then sell us a more expensive ticket. Not only their strategy didn't work, it added so much unnecessary stress to my well planned journey that now I won't ever again in my life book anything related to Discover Morocco or Easy Transfer. It's not worth the stress!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how important accurate and timely information is when planning travel, and we apologize for any miscommunication or inconvenience caused. Your feedback is invaluable and will help us improve our communication and coordination with clients in the future. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced and hope for the opportunity to make things right in the future.

Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tangier.
How much does Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tangier usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tangier is not rushed.
Is Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tangier, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tangier can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tangier and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tangier within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tangier?
+
On Outty we rank every Tangier experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tangier Private Full Day-Trip to Chefchaouen, 7 days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech Morocco Tours, 3h Private Walking Tour in Tangier Kasbah Medina & Colorful Souks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tangier?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tangier?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour?
+
Included: Professional guide; Free pick up and drop off; Transport by air-conditioned minivan; Hercules Cave; and Cap Spartel. Not included: Food and drinks; and Monuments Entry Fees. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 110 listed pickup locations in and around Tangier. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is Tangier Half-Day Guided City Tour offered in?
+

+
