Day trip in Tangier with ferry ride drom Tarifa

Anas was the best tour guide we could of asked for. This man knows every corner, every story, and every shortcut of the city like it's an extension of his own living room — and for one incredible day, he made it feel like ours too. We had exactly one day in Tangier, and Anas treated it like a mission: he showed up right on time (not "Moroccan time," actual time — we were impressed) and packed the day full without ever making it feel rushed. Every stop had a story, every story had context, and by the end we weren't just tourists who'd seen some sights — we felt like we'd actually been somewhere, thanks to him. If you're visiting Tangier and want a guide who's equal parts knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely great company, ask for Anas. You won't regret it — and neither will your itinerary.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a wonderful and thoughtful review! It truly means a lot to me. I’m delighted that I could make the most of your one day in Tangier while still giving you the time to enjoy the city, its stories, and its atmosphere without feeling rushed. It was a real pleasure spending the day with you, and I’m especially happy that you left feeling that you had experienced more than just the usual sights. That is exactly what I hope to create for my guests. And I have to admit, I’m very pleased that my punctuality made the review! 😄 Thank you again for your trust, your wonderful company, and your kind words. I hope Tangier stays with you for a long time, and I wish you many more memorable journeys ahead!

A perfect day in Tangier

It was a private tour with driver and tour guide. Our tour guide prepared for us the perfect blend of history and adventure! Camel riding on the beach, visiting Hercules Caves, walking the streets of the Casbah and visiting local artisans. The tour could not have been better organized!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind feedback! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the day and the different experiences along the way. It was a pleasure showing you around and sharing some special places. I truly appreciate your words and hope to welcome you again in Morocco someday!

Loved the stories behind the places we explored in Tanger!

We loved our walking tour with Anass! He shared so many fun and interesting stories such Perdicaris, shipwrecks, bandits and so much more. We had lunch at a wonderful seafood restaurant inside the souk. I love his POV as a cosmopolitan Moroccan who has lived abroad and came back to Tanger. I’ll be interested in joining his other tours on my next visit to Tanger.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your thoughtful message. It was a real joy to spend time exploring the city together. I’m happy the experience left a good impression, and I’m especially touched that my perspective spoke to you. Looking forward to welcoming you again—there’s still so much more to uncover.

Tangier otherwise

Magical day with Anas, he made us discover his city with the heart. A great way to discover a small part of Morocco.

Response from the operator: Merci infiniment pour ce beau message !

How long does Tangier Full-Day Cultural Experience with Camel Ride. take?

Is Tangier Full-Day Cultural Experience with Camel Ride. worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tangier, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tangier Full-Day Cultural Experience with Camel Ride.?

+

Is Tangier Full-Day Cultural Experience with Camel Ride. suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Tangier Full-Day Cultural Experience with Camel Ride.?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tangier can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tangier and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

On Outty we rank every Tangier experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tangier: Chefchaouen Day Trip with Local Guide, 7 days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech Morocco Tours, From Tangier Private Full Day-Trip to Chefchaouen. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tangier?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tangier?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
