This tour combines two authentic ways to experience Estonia: exploring Tallinn beyond the Old Town by bike and discovering local cuisine through cooking. Cycle through history, nature and seaside scenery, then prepare and enjoy your own traditional Estonian dinner. The bike ride takes you away from the busiest tourist streets and introduces you to a greener, more local side of Tallinn. Along the way, you’ll discover beautiful Kadriorg, the Song Festival Grounds, important historical memorials and the Baltic Sea coastline, while your guide shares stories about Estonia’s past and present. After the ride, swap your helmet for an apron and join a relaxed, hands-on cooking class. With the help of a local chef, you’ll prepare a three-course Estonian meal and enjoy it together — a perfect combination of sightseeing, activity, local culture and great food.

Great tour!
Coming to you from September 2025, just now realizing I never reviewed this awesome tour! We had a great time, I'm not much of a bike rider but it was so fun and my family and I all really enjoyed ourselves. We got to stop for an authentic Estonian lunch, and he took us to some really cool locations. Thank you!
Response from the operator: Thand you for the kind words. We love our country and traditions and local food. Until next time.

Bike tour review
One of the best experiences. Great bike tour with Roland followed by the most amazing home cooked 3 course meal. Would highly recommend this
Response from the operator: Thank you for the feedback. We love our food and our city. Glad you had change to visit us. And had great time.

Thoroughly enjoyed tour with delicious lunch.
We were lucky to be the only customers on this tour on Thursday. We enjoyed a relaxed bike ride around some areas away from the old town. Roland was very informative and we learnt a lot about like in Estonia, culture, history and politics. We then returned to a dining room above the bike shop where we were treated to a delicious home cooked Estonian lunch.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing. We love cycling and local food.

Totally Tantalising Tallinn
What an amazing day. If I could give this tour 10/10 I would. My husband was a bit dubious about riding a bike but it was so enjoyable and honestly, it beat walking. And Tallinn put on the most beautiful weather. Thomas, our guide, took us to so many great locations, from The Old Town, past the moat, to the Markets, the seaside passing through the Sauna Spa and then to the Tallinn Houses area, stopping in at a microbrewery then heading back to base for the most delicious shared meal. I absolutely loved sitting down with others sharing our meal together. We got to chat and find out more about each other. As for the food, the highlight for me was the moose sausage, the mushroom salad….who am I kidding, the whole meal cooked by chef was delicious. Simple and tasty. You definitely don’t walk away hungry. What an incredible tour this is. I would absolutely, 100% recommend it. Thank you Thomas and Chef for a wonderful day.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the long feedback. We enjoyed the food and company a lot and was nice to share food stories and compare different cultures and different food experiences.

Great combo, biking, history, culture, and a national meal.
Excellent. When traveling we typically opt for the bike tour to help orient ourselves. The touring bikes provided were ideal- three speed and in excellent mechanical shape. The route was mostly flat with stops at points of interest. Most importantly was the personal interaction with the guide who combined history and personal experiences. The tour concluded with an authentic national meal prepared by a chef. Overall an outstanding experience.

Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tallinn.
How much does Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class cost?
+
Prices start at $124 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tallinn usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tallinn is not rushed.
Is Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tallinn, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tallinn can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tallinn and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tallinn Bike Tour & Estonian Cooking Class start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tallinn within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tallinn?
+
On Outty we rank every Tallinn experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Old Town Tallinn Historical Walking Tour, Lahemaa National Park Day Trip, Day Trip to Lahemaa National Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tallinn?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tallinn?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
