Golden Triangle

Lijo Jose is a professional to work with and always answered any communication promptly. We did the four-night Golden Triangle (private tour) from Mumbai. We enjoyed having knowledgeable tour guides and a driver to take us around. Our vehicle was very comfortable and we appreciated the water/snacks provided. All arrangements took place seamlessly. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this company.

Amazing Experience Taj Mahal and so much more

I want to Thank Lijo and his team for the best experience we could ever imagine. Our tour guide Indu Singh was amazing. Kind, knowledgeable, well spoken and thoughtful. Always making sure we all saw everything possible. From the Taj Mahal at sunrise to palaces local restaurants. Our bus was clean and accommodations in both Agra and Delhi were top notch. I highly recommend this tour and tour company. I can not say enough about what an amazing experience it was.

Response from the operator: Thank you for serving as such passionate ambassadors of our brand, your outstanding review serves us happily

An honest and thoughtful guide

Lijo has been amazing from start to finish. We had booked a tour for 40 of us and our cruise was cancelled. He’s has refunded everyone in a timely manner. He’s been so incredibly helpful and polite throughout this ordeal. I will be booking a tour with him on our next visit to India.

Nice Excursion

Lijo communicated well, during preparation. He and his crew met us at the port, and we were off in a nice bus. (This is important, because India transportation does not always fit what some would consider "normal standards"). Our guide was good, and had his hands full since the tour varied with different ages, different backgrounds, localities, interest and expectations. We went to: 1) the Crawford Market - eye opening 2) the Laundry - Dhobi Ghat 3) Taj Mahal Palace 4) Gateway of India 5) Gandhi's Home 6) Chhatrapati Shivaji Train Station - took a train ride many other points of interest. *Be prepared to sweat - it is HOT and MUGGY! *There will be beggers, peddlers and sites to break your heart - get ready. *Bring small denominations of money - many little trinkets everywhere to tease you. Mumbai takes a little adjustment for some sensibilities. This tour exposed that in many ways. If you are in this group tour, please take an open mind, and allow the cultural experience to happen. The tour may test your comfort zone, but they do a good job in trying to foster your appreciation of what you are viewing. (Remember, some travel to learn, some travel to see, some travel to experience - views will vary). If needed, I would use this company again. The went our of their way to try to please everyone and offered an eye opening tour.

Taj Mahal Mission Accomplished.

Thanks Lijo and his crew for an excellent Taj Mahal tour from Mumbai. Mission Complete. Very professional each step of the way and taking into account our every needs, time wise, health wise and tour wise. From Mumbai airport, Delhi pickup and hotel, to drive and return from Agra(Taj Mahal), to his choice of airlines(Vistara/Indigo), 5 star hotel(Radisson Blu/Hilton Agra) and accommodations all the way outstanding. Superb professional guides and drivers made sure we were safe and our tour tailored to our needs. Shout out to Delhi/Agra rep Ageesh, driver Gruvinder & most certainly guide Bishan S.. Thanks Delhi crew for being so accommodating from India gate, Lotus Temple, G.Bangla Sahib, etc. Then great job for Agra, Red Fort, Baby Taj, etc. and finally Taj Mahal. Enjoying the Pannchi Patha dessert for you guys.Thx Finally thanks to Lijo Jose for arranging every step of the way, drivers, flight choice, hotel choice, reps in Mumbai/Delhi/Agra, all very well coordinated even in the heat of May in India. No time delays, thru various immigration delays, no hotel delays. Tour delays mostly due to India heat(+40degC) midday. One foot note, India Immigration could use further improvement/progression from paper base to digital age. Thx All Mr&Mrs JJ dR

Taj Mahal Overland Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mumbai.

How much does Taj Mahal Overland Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $2950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mumbai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Taj Mahal Overland Tour take?

+

Plan for about 64 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mumbai is not rushed.

Is Taj Mahal Overland Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mumbai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Taj Mahal Overland Tour?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Taj Mahal Overland Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 64-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Taj Mahal Overland Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mumbai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mumbai and add a light layer if any part of the 64-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Taj Mahal Overland Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mumbai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mumbai?

+

On Outty we rank every Mumbai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Elephanta Caves & Island Guided Private Tour, Dharavi Slum Tour, Mumbai: Dharavi Slum & Dhobi Ghat Laundry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mumbai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mumbai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
