2 day tour of Agra and the Taj Mahal from Delhi

My friend and I had just completed an intrepid tour Mountains and Mystics. This did not include the Taj Mahal so we arranged a 2 day trip from Delhi. We were picked up from our hotel and transferred to our train seats for the 3 hour trip to Agra. The trip was organised by Tushar Singh and our guide was Aomod. Tushar arranged everything perfectly and Aomod was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He ensured that we saw the Taj at the best times and light, with the least crowds. Our hotel Pushp palace was very good. As was our driver. At the end of the trip Tushar ensured that we got on the right train back to Delhi. I would recommend this trip even to those who have been Agra before. Seeing the Taj Mahal at dusk and dawn is unforgettable

    Beautiful Experience with Family!

We visited the Taj Mahal last week with our family. It was a wonderful experience. The place is very beautiful and peaceful. The white marble looks amazing in sunlight. We took many photos and made great memories. Our guide told us interesting stories about the history of the Taj Mahal. The garden is also very nice and clean. We enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful design. It was a little crowded, but everything was well managed. We also found good food nearby after our visit. This trip was special for our whole family. We will always remember it. Highly recommend visiting the Taj Mahal with your loved ones!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience of visiting the Taj Mahal with your family. We’re delighted to hear that the beauty and peaceful atmosphere of this iconic monument left a lasting impression on you all.

Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train cost?

    +

Prices start at $162 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train take?

    +

Is Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Taj Mahal Day Tour from Delhi by Superfast Express Train start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
