Taigüey Emotion Show, a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy sailing through the amazing crystal clear coast of Punta Cana, with a stop at the magnificent natural pool of Playa Blanca, admiring the dazzling coral reefs offered by the Caribbean Sea, where you can snorkel and get to know the amazing underwater world . Taigüey Emotion Show is a Caribbean themed party alluding to the first inhabitants of the Dominican Republic, Los Taínos. Not much snorkelling

Was expecting more snorkelling as it was advertised as a snorkelling excursion. We only stayed at the snorkelling spot for about 10 minutes, in which the fish were really cool to see, but we did not stay nearly as long as we had hoped or expected. Natural swimming pool (sand bar) stop was cool but was quickly overrun with other tour boats, very busy and loud. We still had a good time, but more snorkelling would’ve been nice.

    No show

They did not show and their phone did not work. In addition did not respond to messages on here. We waited 45 minutes for them until we gave up. It might have been cool if it happened.

    They never showed

They never showed up at hotel to pick me up. I emailed 4 days prior for confirmation. No return email. Concierge at hotel called morning of excursion. Call kept being ended.

A little bit of everything. Not enough of anything.

This was recommended by our hotel as a great snorkeling experience, but also a great party boat, I.e., booze cruise. Pickup from the hotel and transport to the boat did go smoothly. The trip is advertised as including 5 different parts: 1) The cultural stop at a Taino museum. Other than sitting at a picnic table in the parking lot waiting to board the bat, this did not happen; 2) 40 minutes of snorkeling. The area was beautiful over a coral reef, but more like 20 minutes. Not enough time; 3) Cruise with professional dancers who will go through multiple traditional dances. Nope. A bunch of teenagers hopping u and down to a Spanish version of “Shout” fr 5 minutes, followed by 2 performers doing a “Taino” dance for 5 minors: 4 A 40 minute stop at a white sand pool. Lasted over 60 minutes. About 7 other part boats, all blasting different musc, while you could swim around the 4 foot deep sand bar. It wasn’t until we were approaching here that they opened up the “open bar”—Sprite, Coke, one brand of beer, and Barcelo Dominican rum. Nothing else. A loud party atmosphere, but not exactly a “booze cruise.” 5) Dance competition and Caribbean rhythms. No dance competition or prize—just more loud music. Honestly, it felt like this was a ride for employees to eat off steam, and we were able to be on the boat also. Snorkeling should have been longer, the stop at the noisy party area should have been shorter,, and the bar should have included more than one beer and rum (which were not available until halfway through the cruise)

Taiguey Emotion Show: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.

How much does Taiguey Emotion Show cost?

    +

Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Taiguey Emotion Show take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.

Is Taiguey Emotion Show worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 146 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Taiguey Emotion Show?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Taiguey Emotion Show suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Taiguey Emotion Show?

    +

Around 51 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Taiguey Emotion Show start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?

    +

On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
