Great tour of tacos and more in CDMX

We had a great experience with Ninelth as our guide! She was very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about Mexico City and its history and culture. She taught us about much more than tacos! We did this tour on our first night in town and it was a great way to get acquainted with the city. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for an authentic and unpretentious taco experience in CDMX!

Awsome!

The perfect place! I really liked the mezcal, an originally Mexican flavor, and the tacos. I have no words to describe how delicious they are. I couldn't stop eating them, especially the pastor ones! My family accompanied me and it was the best decision, I want to return and I highly recommend it! I give it 100/10

Amazing Culinary Experience in Polanco – A Must-Try!

My boyfriend and I had the best time on this food tour in Polanco, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The tour lasted about 3-4 hours, and we got to try a variety of incredible Tacos and Mezcal! We started with tacos de suadero, which were absolutely delicious! The meat was so tender, and the red salsa was spectacular—spicy, but not overpowering. Next, we tried tacos al pastor, and our guide explained that this recipe has roots in Middle Eastern cuisine, specifically the Arab-style tacos made with lamb, but here they use pork and, of course, serve it with tortillas instead of pita bread. These tacos were so flavorful and well-seasoned! But my absolute favorite had to be the cochinita pibil tacos. The rich, savory pork had an incredible balance of flavors slow-cooked and marinated in citrus. The meat was so juicy and tender, with a slight tanginess that made every bite melt in your mouth. It was honestly one of the best tacos I’ve ever had! My boyfriend’s favorite part of the tour was the mezcal drinks. We tried a mezcal espadín, which had such a smooth and smoky flavor, and a mezcal cocktail that was absolutely delicious, refreshing and the perfect way to cool off between taco stops. To top it all off, we finished the tour with churros, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and covered in sugar. The perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable culinary adventure! If you’re in Polanco and love great food, this tour is a 100% must-do experience!

Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco!: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco! cost?

+

Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco! take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco! worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 67 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco!?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco! suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco!?

+

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tacos, Churros and Mezcal Experience in Polanco! start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
