Customized taco and tequila bar crawl

I asked Laila to do the impossible: to organize a customized taco and tequila bar crawl for FIFTY people as a precursor to my destination wedding in Mexico. And she and the team at Pies Descalzos knocked it out of the park!!!! They came up with an ingenious plan to separate us into four groups so that we could easily go to different locations that were small and really popular (aka hard to get into). I cannot imagine all the work that went into organizing four different routes, each with four different bars and four different taquerias. But the result was amazing, and my guests had an absolute blast !! We especially loved ending at Kinshasa rooftop, where our entire group reunited and got complimentary shots !! The attention to detail and attentiveness that Laila gave me at every step was incredible. I’m extremely grateful. It was an unforgettable day. Thank you again!

Mercado De Jamaica with Laila

Laila is an amazing guide! We were originally with Laila for the Basilica tour. We asked her about a last minute add on- gastronomy tour. She said yes! She took us to the Mercado de Jamaica and we had so much fun. We are so glad we did because that market is huge and we would never have known where to eat. We started with lamb barbacoa which was so good! Afterwards we went to get gorditas which were also so good! Then we went to get carnitas, street corn and ice cream! Everything was great and the flowers were beautiful. We had so much fun and were so grateful that Laila took us. We highly recommend Laila!

Response from the operator: Hello Elaine! Thankyou very much to take the time to write about your experience. We enjoyed this day a lot, specially knowing for Adam would be special. Hope you come back soon, we would live to see you back in Mexico! Big hugs for you and Adam :)

A delight of flavors and colors! On my visit to the Jamaican market, CDMX

What a delight! An experience full of flavor and color in the Jamaican market, I loved seeing so many beautiful crafts, incredible variety of flowers, and the tacos of carnitas, quesadilla of seafood, gordita of chicharrón, and as if that were not enough, a delicious ice cream of rum with raisins, of my favorites:)) In addition to such a pleasant guide of Laila Navarro, that gave me to choose from the richest of the place. Thank you thank you thank you

Response from the operator: Hola Maty! :)

A must-do tour in México City for foodies!

Layla was amazing! She was really knowledgable about the market and the foods we tried. But the best part was that it didn’t feel like an ordinary tour, but more like a couple of friends hanging out with the added benefit that she knows the market like the back of her hand. I also loved that the tour started at La Esquina de los Chilaquiles where we tried the famous (and incredibly delicious!) chilaquiles tortas. Thank you Layla for a really fun and delicious tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your words Teresa! We're so happy to know that you had a nice time with Laila! We really focus on the human touch in every tour and to feel that our tourist feel comfortable in the whole experience :) Is really good to know that, with every tour, we are making some good friends on the way!

Taco tour by bike: Condesa: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Taco tour by bike: Condesa cost?

+

Prices start at $1200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Taco tour by bike: Condesa take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Taco tour by bike: Condesa worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Taco tour by bike: Condesa?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Taco tour by bike: Condesa suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Taco tour by bike: Condesa?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Taco tour by bike: Condesa start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
