A Memorable Day Exploring Cape Town with Khaya Tours
My friends came to Cape Town for a conference, and I thought, why not use the opportunity to explore this beautiful city together? So we decided to book a tour with Khaya Tours, and I’m honestly so glad we did. We explored Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula and Boulders Beach to see the penguins, and it turned into such a wonderful day. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, took lots of pictures, laughed together, and just had a great time. One thing I really appreciated was how knowledgeable our tour guide was. He shared so much interesting information about the places we visited, the history and the area in general\. It made the tour feel much more personal because we weren’t just visiting the attractions—we were learning about them too. It was lovely seeing Cape Town through the eyes of visitors and appreciating places that I sometimes take for granted.Sharing the experience with my friends made it even more special. I’m so happy we decided to do this tour. It was a beautiful day, and we made some really wonderful memories together. **Thank you, Khaya Tours, for being part of such a memorable Cape Town experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this beautiful review! We are so happy you and your friends enjoyed exploring Table Mountain, the Peninsula and Boulders Beach with us. We loved being part of your memorable day and creating those special memories together. Hope to see you all again soon! Warm regards, Khaya Tours Team

Short visit but memorable
We originally booked for a 3 day tour that includes Cape Peninsula Tour (day 1), Table Mountain and Robben Island Tour (day 2) and Cape Winelands Tour (day 3). Due to cancellation and delay in flights, our trip to Cape Town was cut short. Instead of 3 day tour, we were able to avail of the 2 day tour. Upon request, Khaya Tours accommodated us by combining day 2 and day 3 as our day 2. We requested by skipping the Robben Island tour and replace it with the short version of the wine tour. Nathan of Khaya Tours was very kind to adjust our tour based on our request. In addition, he was able to make a last minute reservation for the African Dinner and Drum Show. We really appreciate it very much for all the extra efforts. Samuel, our driver and tour guide, was very professional, kind and polite. He’s very knowledgeable about the places and goes extra mile to accommodate us if we need more time in one place and take a break when needed. I highly recommend Khaya Tours to anyone planning to visit Cape Town.
Response from the operator: Dear Sam, Thank you so much for your wonderful 5-star review! We are sorry to hear that your flights were cancelled and delayed and your 3-day trip was cut short. We are truly happy that we could accommodate you by combining Day 2 and Day 3 into one day for you. It was our pleasure to replace Robben Island with the Winelands short tour as per your request, and to arrange the last-minute African Dinner and Drum Show for you. I will proudly share your kind words with Nathan and Samuel. Samuel will be delighted to know that you appreciated his professionalism, knowledge, and flexibility. Thank you for highly recommending Khaya Tours. We hope to welcome you back to Cape Town soon to complete your full 3-day tour! Warmest regards, Yolande

Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours cost?
+
Prices start at R 1,050 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Hike Table Mountain or Lions Head in Cape Town Like a Local, Cape Point and Boulder's Penguins Full Day Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours?
+
Included: Pick up and drop off; Air-conditioned vehicle; Bottled water; and Licensed Tour Guide. Not included: Entrance fees; Entrance fees; Entrance fees; and Lunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

What languages is Table Mountain, Peninsula and Penguins Tours offered in?
