Great trip to 3 magical Swiss cities
The trip to Lauterbrunnen, Grindewald and Interlaken was a special day spent with my wife and sister! Each city has a unique charm and a visit to each is worthwhile. The tour took about 10 hours and about 3 and 1/2 hours total was in the bus, which wasn't bad.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your special day visiting Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Interlaken with your family. It’s great to know each destination left a unique impression and that the journey was comfortable overall. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again for another unforgettable Swiss adventure!

It’s a great way to see...
It’s a great way to see three great spots. Lars (our guide) and Victoria ( our driver) were exceptional. Lars shared so much info and history with us. Fluent in four languages meant most people were able to learn and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend ❤️
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed exploring the beautiful regions of Grindelwald, Interlaken, and Lauterbrunnen. It’s fantastic to hear that Lars and Victoria made your experience even more special with their knowledge and support. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with them. Thank you for the recommendation, and we hope to welcome you again on another memorable journey

False Advertising
This experience would have been better if I what I booked was true. I booked a semi-private tour, no more than 30 people. We ended up on a double decker bus of over 100 people. We went early to try and get a front seat since my friend and husband are claustrophobic. There were already people on the bus so we had to go to the top. My friend canceled because she couldn’t do it and my husband didn’t want to go either. If it wasn’t for Andrea and Angela the tour guides who let my husband sit in the front with her, we would’ve walked off the tour too. You’re lucky you have those two ladies from Columbia! They were so kind and had so much knowledge, we were impressed! Getting back to Viator, I have used Viator many times and I question to use them in the future because what I thought I was buying was false advertising. Also, our friends booked the day before the tour and paid $40 less for each person! I’m so disappointed that is why I only gave 3 stars.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment. As mentioned in the tour details, this is a shared tour and group sizes can be larger depending on the day and vehicle arrangements. However, we understand how the experience may have felt different from your expectations.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $210 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Swiss Alps Day Tour: Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
