Best company from start to finish
We had an amazing day and Shane was great. Lovely personalized service and certainly went above and beyond to get us into 1 last winery.
Response from the operator: Hi Kelly So glad to hear you had a great day Thank you for your 5-Star review Ally

Great Value Perth to Margaret Tour With So Many Places and Things to Do.
This time I took my family. The wine was nice, the young ones LOVED seeing how chocolate is made at the factory and eating their chocolate. The best for me was washing down the DELICIOUS lunch with locally made cider. Our friendly, informative local guide took us sightseeing to various places, such as beautiful vineyards. Walking over the wooden bridges at Canal Rocks in the Indian Ocean, with great views, was also one of the best tour things we did. I'll bring some of my clients on the next tour Down South from Perth with highly recommended Unwind Tours.

Worse tour in the world
Worst tour I have ever been on in my life, hands down by far. Please learn from my terrible experience and before booking this tour....I have never written a bad review before but it would be unfair of me to let anyone book through this terrible company. We paid $475pp. He didn't to pick up one of the guests from her hotel even though it said pick up included, instead made her walk to the our friends hotel. The van we were in was smashed up both inside and out. The tour itinerary said morning tea was included, Paul made us pay for our own morning tea which was in a shed in the middle of no where. Besides lunch he took us to visit to ONE winery and then back home. The tour itinerary included a visit to a gin, cider/beer place none of that was provided. Again the itinerary also included a visit chocolate factory and olive oil factory. Again he did not take us there. He was passive aggressive the whole tour and his driving is nothing short of dangerous. They experience was comparable to an uber driver taking us to one winery and back. The exorbitant price was not reflective of the tour price. We have emailed them 5+ times relaying our complaint but also to request a 20% refund (which I believe is reasonable considering half of the tour was omitted). They have no responded to any of the emails. It's extremely disappointing that a tour can behave in such a abhorrent way, taking peoples money and providing them a very poor and misleading experience.

A perfect Day Trip
We thoroughly recommend this day trip to Margaret River. Paul was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the area. The highlights of the tour were visiting Busselton and enjoying a wonderful three-course lunch at Clairault Winery.
Response from the operator: Dear Moira Thank you for your 5 Star review. Paul will be very pleased to see that your heading for your review is ...... A PERFECT DAY TRIP Best wishes Ally

In a word, "Spectacular!"
Look no further. Best tour I've ever experienced and I've done a few from Barossa to the wineries of Europe. A expertised guide, Shane was a standout. Knowledgeable, professional and clearly knows his stuff. He went above and beyond to make a reunion with friends amazing. He is a true asset and we will be booking again in the Spring! The lunch at Clairault winery was 5 star and the selection of wine tastings was spot on and tailored to our tastes. Shane also accommodated us with what we liked and took us to places that have now become new favourites. Thanks once again.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Swan Valley Wine Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Perth.
How much does Swan Valley Wine Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Perth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Swan Valley Wine Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Perth is not rushed.
Is Swan Valley Wine Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Perth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Swan Valley Wine Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Swan Valley Wine Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Swan Valley Wine Tour?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Perth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Perth and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Swan Valley Wine Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Perth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Perth?
+
On Outty we rank every Perth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Optus Stadium Tour, Discover Perth Walking Tour: History, Art, Local Insights + More!, Pinnacles Desert Sunset Dinner and Stargazing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Perth?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Perth?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Swan Valley Wine Tour?
+
Included: Alcoholic beverages; and Lunch. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Swan Valley Wine Tour include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 133 listed pickup locations in and around Perth. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time.
What languages is Swan Valley Wine Tour offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Swan Valley Wine Tour?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Swan Valley Wine Tour wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
What happens to Swan Valley Wine Tour if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Perth. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
What do travelers say about Swan Valley Wine Tour?
+
Across 17 reviews averaging 4.4 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide, food and drink, knowledge and storytelling. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works.
