Tyler's Vineyard
Tyler's Vineyard is a welcoming, family-run business. After selling their grapes to well-established wineries in the Swan Valley since 1996, their small vineyard is now producing its own wines. It is said that great wines begin in the vineyards, and there over 100-year-old Grenache vines prove this. Tyler’s vines were planted over a century ago with the original vineyards of the beautiful Swan Valley. A quaint little cellar door with rustic charm and farm animals to leave you with a smile on your face and an experience that you will talk about for months.

don’t book this tour, possibly a scam
☹️The operator took $379 from our bank account the day before the tour. When I phoned shortly after that to confirm the tour he told us he couldn’t take us on the tour after all. He refused to provide a refund and directed me to get the refund from trip advisor/Viator. There was no explanation why he wouldn’t take us on the tour and why we hadn’t been informed it was cancelled in good time and before he took payment. We were unable to book a tour with anyone else due to the short notice.
Response from the operator: Andrew I am incredibly disappointed with you and the way you have described what took place. Point 1 You will see here a copy of the refund that I told you would come from Viator. Point 2 I took time to explain to you why we as the tour company would not be issuing the refund as we have not received your funds for the booking. Point 3 I apologized to you for the fact that we could not take you on the tour you booked I explained clearly that you were the ONLY two people booked on this tour last Friday. Final Point I am sorry that you did not get to book another tour. I remember clearly saying to you ...... I hope you find something else to do Sincerely disappointed in how you have portrayed our company. Regards Paul

Great way to start my 50's.
Although bus a little crapped, even for 7 of us ( we had a couple of tall people) we had a great time Lots of laughs and great choices in winery's and gin/vodka tasting. Lunch was a little late to arrive which caused out tour to run short but overall an amazing time. Beautiful bottle of wine presented at the end with a group photo label was a nice touch.
Response from the operator: Hiya Liz May your 50's keep rolling along in style !!!!! Come back soon Ally

Fun-filled trip
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Paul as our driver. He was fabulous, knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a fun filled day taking some great wineries and gin estates.

The worst experience ever possible
The tour never took place. Tour Operator Unwind Tours never arrived. Told us they didn't have a booking. Trip Advisor are Always excellent in communicating so go figure the Tour Operators response. They have not repaid money's and have accepted no responsibility. We have had wasted expensive accommodation to do this particular tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Bronwyn I am sorry that you feel let down. As you know we have had three exchanges in dealing with your tour. Ally in our office has also been in contact with you. I explained clearly to you what took place and therefore the tour did not run on the day that you had booked. We have been in contact with Viator and requested a refund on your behalf. Ally in my office will follow up again on this. I did make it crystal clear to you that you needed to contact Viator directly. Regards Paul

Awesome lunch, but overall disappointing tour
This tour was ok but compared to others there were a few obvious missing elements. We didn’t go to a brewery or cidery, which is why I chose this trip as husband can’t drink wine. The first winery was nice but no interest from staff and no winemaker or owner to provide any info about the facility or the wines!!! None. The young girls serving was nice but had no idea. For one of the oldest wineries, the experience was average. Wines were nice. The next winery was ok as well with a few extras things on offer like jams and soaps etc. lots of kids, loud and no interest fro. Staff who just lined up four wines for the tasting and walked away. The third venue was a distillery (although didn’t see a distillery) weren’t told anything about it. The lunch was amazing and huge (highlight of the day) and the whisky and gins were nice to taste. Once again our driver just dropped and left us with no info. The final venue was a pretty rough ‘farm’ shed. Could call it rustic with games like cornhole and chooks running around. The owner was o lovely and finally some passion. It was hot and stayed too long. The wines were very ordinary, despite obviously being made with love. Disappointed that the last venue wasn’t a cidery or brewery instead, as advertised. With the hundreds of venues, the last choice was poor. We had a nice day out because we’re had good company. I wouldn’t do this tour again.

Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Perth.
How much does Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Perth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Perth is not rushed.
Is Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Perth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour?
+

Is Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Perth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Perth and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Swan Valley Beer, Gin & Wine Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Perth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Perth?
+
On Outty we rank every Perth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Optus Stadium Tour, Discover Perth Walking Tour: History, Art, Local Insights + More!, Pinnacles Desert Sunset Dinner and Stargazing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Perth?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Perth?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
