Very early after picking it up at your hotel, we head to Chinchero where families still preserve their traditional customs and show us the ancestral way in which they process wool, and the way they obtain such vivid colors for their textiles. Moray, considered one of the laboratories of agricultural experimentation, surprising with its circular terraces that are probably witnesses of the genetic evolution of many Andean products adapted to climatic conditions typical of the region. Salineras de Maras, a spectacular area with saline protuberances, coming from the mountains that are still extracted by hand, the human warmth that works is also welcoming. Ollantaytambo, one of the most important architectural complexes of the Inca Empire and one of the few places where the Spanish conquerors lost a battle, famous for its terraces built on the slopes of the mountains for agricultural purposes. Pisaq is a center of administration of the lands of the sun, lands of the Inka and lands of the people, famous for the textileria and its visual dominion of the sacred valley vip. During the tour we stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Incas overlooking the Urubamba River.

TAYRA TOURS support from beginning to end.
I hired the entire package, accommodation and various tours (city tour, Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu), Baroque route, Lagoa Humantay and Vinicunca) with transfer from the airport pro hotel and vice versa. I didn't have to worry about anything, I had all the support from Ruth and Jenny. The guides were great, especially Mary in Machu Pichu. We loved the experience and very much worth the paid values.

Full and recommended tour
We did the full tour to the sacred valley and it was a great experience. We visited Chinchero, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Maras and Pisac. All the visits were very enjoyable thanks to the explanations of our guide Carlos. In addition, we were able to visit everything in the moments of least influx of people, as when we ended up in a place we saw how many more tourists began to arrive. We recommend it 100%.

SHOP TOUR
Zero recommended. The excursion basically consisted of running to all the points of tourist interest, since the guide briefly explained the place to us and then gave us a few minutes to visit (in chinchero, maras and Ollantaytambo 0 free time, in Moray 15min) and in spending HOURS in stores so we could buy (they take you to textile stores, salt stores and there they don't give you a maximum time to get back to the bus). If you book a tour of the sacred valley, you want to see the valley, you don't want them to teach you how they dye wool and how to weave and then spend half an hour in the store, and you want to see the salt flats of Maras, where they can explain the process to you right there. of elaboration without having to first take you to the store and explain it to you there. If the tour consists of a store tour, they should at least specify it so that people know that they are hiring.
Response from the operator: Estimada Marta Es una pena escucharlo estos comentarios y que no le haya gustado el servicio de Tayra Tours Cusco, nosotros hacemos todo lo posible para que todos disfruten de la excurcion al valle sagrado y este tour siempre hay paradas donde se visitan lugares de textileria donde te enseñan a teñir , a reconocer la lana de vicuña por los lugareños que se esmeran cada dia por demostrarnos su cultura , sus tradiciones y costunbres. Lamentamos mucho si la excurcion no lo disfruto en grupo , el tour al valle sagrado al complento tiene un tiempo reducido en cada lugar porque se visitan 5 zonas arqueoligicas y sobre las compras es opcional nadie le obliga a comprarlo cada uno es libre de decidir y aparte de ello cuando alguien hace una compra apoyas a la poblacion a su desarrollo y economia de cada familia. Nuestro equipo realizo una investigacion con las 17 personas que estuvieron en el tour ese dia; y el resultado es que todo fue exelente estan muy contentos y no tuvieron ningun inconveniente en conocer nuestras culturas. Nuevamente le pedimos mil disculpas si no llegamos a sus expectativas , cada dia tratamos de hacer mejor nuestros trabajo como son los ( Guias , Transfer, Trasladistas, Conductores y el personal de oficina).
