NOT FREE - 30 to 80 euro TIP DEMAND
They will guilt trip you into leaving a 30 - 80 euro tip. Not really free then is it? I would have been happy to leave a tip but the manager Luigi is very rude and made me feel like I am doing something wrong. Avoid. There are plenty of other free tours that don't treat you like garbage.
Response from the operator: Dear Engineer Varun Shrimal, Writing a negative review to justify your own misconduct doesn't change the facts, nor does it affect the trust that hundreds of people have placed (and continue to place) in our work, day after day. It would be enough to highlight that you left this review on Viator without booking through them to qualify (so not only did you use a service without paying a single rupee, but you didn't even pay the €3 Viator charges for booking!) You participated in a free tour, a tour where each participant is free to rate the service received and acknowledge the guide's work at the end of the experience. Taking advantage of the tour without leaving a contribution is not only disrespectful to the guide, but also to the very philosophy of free tours, which is based on trust, fairness, and recognition of the value of others' work. A guided tour in Florence typically costs much more than the €80 per person you mentioned. Even more so, participating in a quality experience with a freewill offering represents a unique opportunity, one to be embraced honestly. Instead, you took advantage of it by leaving without leaving anything: nothing to Viator for the booking (since you booked through another platform where the falsehoods you wrote aren't allowed). We wish you more respectful travel experiences in the future. You'll see, you'll feel better too if you behave well... — The Another Florence Team

Great way to kick off a few days in Firenze.
Lots of history and recommendations! Ludi took us to many different areas, was very knowledgeable, funny, and an excellent guide.

Good tour
Ludi was a wonderful guide as we walked through historic Florence. We found Anselm Kiefer an interesting part of the tour.

No one because ur guides...
No one because ur guides never shop up and we look for them half hour ahead around places so be careful scheduling people if ur guides aren’t be ready for the guests
Response from the operator: The tour took place regularly and I am very sorry that you were unable to locate our meeting point and the guide who, as always, waited until 6.05pm. In the confirmation that we send to all people who book our tours, we provide a telephone number so they can contact us. You could have contacted us and we would have explained where the group was. I'm sorry but it's mostly your fault if you didn't find us!

Excellent evening walk through Florence
This was our first walking tour after arriving in Florence. It was an excellent way to learn our way around the city and take in plenty of history. It was very informative but also fun, keeping us all engaged the whole time!

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sunset Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Sunset Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $3 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Sunset Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset Walking Tour?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
