    Worth every penny!

The staff were absolutely amazing! We were only 6 people on the boat. Great atmosphere. Lovely views. There is more than one boat and they all sail out at the same time. It was absolutely worth the money. It's great for all occasions, with family, friends or couples. The staff leave you to enjoy your time but are available for anything and will also offer you snacks and drinks. If you get sea sick, do not sit towards the front of the boat! It can get a bit bumpy so take good care when walking back and forth or moving about. Will definitely do this again next time I am in Barcelona!!!

A very enjoyable way to spend an evening in Barcelona. Highly recommended!

A very enjoyable way to spend an evening in Barcelona. Highly recommended! With only eight people on board, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed. Everyone chatted within their own group while enjoying the scenery, making for a calm and intimate sailing experience. Even though it was a cloudy evening, the views of Barcelona from the sea were beautiful, and we still managed to catch the sunset! The sea was a bit rough at times, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. Thanks to the captain! The entire booking process was seamless, from the easy online reservation to the clearly spottable meeting point. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout.

    Worth It

We really enjoyed our time, and had a great captain. He was friendly and engaging, and went out of his way to make sure his passengers enjoyed the ride. There were a couple issues that kept me from giving it 5 stars - two boats were going out that evening, and the other one wouldn't start. And on our boat, the sail couldn't be hosted because of a mechanical issue.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad our captain went out of his way to ensure you had a great ride, but we are truly sorry that technical issues impacted your evening. Having a boat not start and being unable to hoist the sail on yours is definitely not the standard we aim for. Please be assured that our maintenance team resolved these issues right away. Thank you for your patience, and we hope to have the opportunity to give you a perfect experience on your next visit to Barcelona.

    It has been an experience...

It has been a very good experience. The guys responsible for it are very nice. The treatment from the person who drove the boat was spectacular; if I could do it again, I would love to meet them again. And the girls who accompanied us were wonderful. Without a doubt, we would do it again.

Response from the operator: ¡Muchísimas gracias por una reseña tan espectacular!

    Crooked company. Stay away.

We had a confirmed reservation and got there 30 minutes early. The boat wasn't even in place yet. When the boat got to the pickup spot the manager told us they would not let us on the boat because it was overbooked and not offer a refund. We called Viator and filed a complaint. Stay away from this company.

Response from the operator: Hello, First of all, we apologize once again, because it's true that we didn't see your booking. We received a confirmation email, but unfortunately, yours didn't arrive in our regular mail; it was in spam. The person in charge of the service went to confirm the booking this afternoon, and we quickly looked for a solution so you could leave, before telling you directly that you couldn't leave and that we would refund your money. We always try to find a solution first so you can enjoy the experience you came for. We found a solution and gave you the option to leave, but you told us you no longer wanted to. At that point, we contacted Viator to arrange for your refund. I believe we acted correctly, and above all, we always want our customers to be able to go sailing. Best regards

Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona cost?

    +

Prices start at $22 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sunset shared Sailing Excursion in Barcelona start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

    +

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

    +

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
